I haven't clicked on the link, but the brief description of the action I saw in a Youtuber's review really excites me. Black Widow's fighting still rocks, especially in Civil War.

I liked it, didn't love it, but am still excited for it. This would have been a lot more exciting after Captain America Winter Soldier, maybe as a lead in to Civil War (depending on the timeline). The editing in the trailer didn't really wow me the way I expected it to with regards the fight choreography. There were lots of exciting descriptions from D23 that had me salivating for some John Wick style brutality, but with Black Widow (sans pencil). I trust the action will deliver in the film though, so that doesn't worry me too much. David Harbor looks like he's going to deliver on giving a memorable take on the Red Guardian, who I actually know nothing about beyond the basic description. I am surprised at how big they're going with this in terms of action. Jumping out of planes feels very Fast and Furious 7 in this day and age. I'm both excited and worried about that. It looked cool, but I wanted more boots on the ground kind of action. Coming out of Captain America: Civil War, everyone was talking about how badass Black Panther was, myself included, but I think a special nod has to go to Black Widow for how awesome her fight scenes are too. It was more of what we'd seen before, but more intense and just better. Here's hoping these guys can top themselves again... oh yeah, and that the story can match it.

Slowly getting more excited for this film. I think Task Master is going to be super badass, like the first time we saw Bucky as The Winter Soldier. Here's hoping they don't pull a Black Panther in terms of taking a step backward with the fight choreography and visuals. Like, Black Panther was more impressive in Civil War and looked more realistic than he was in his own film. I hope Black Widow doesn't go the same route.

As expected, Black Widow is delayed due to the corona virus. www.cbr.com/marvel-black-widow-delayed-coronavirus/I already posted about the possibility of this happening in the "Race to..." thread, but I could see Marvel pushing all their movies back to accommodate things. This is the scenario we could have: * Black Widow - November 6, 2020 * Eternals - February 12, 2021 * Shang-Chi - May 7, 2021 * Spider-Man 3 - July 16, 2021 (Sony will most likely want to keep the summer spot) * Doctor Strange 2 - November 5, 2021 (they may need the extra time given the director situation anyway) * Thor 4 - February 18, 2022 * Black Panther 2 - May 6, 2022 (no change)

Nice work BIB!
It'll be interesting to see how it performs. All of the Daniel Craig bond films have had November release dates in the U.S. Hell, even No Time To Die was rescheduled for late November. This will be a month of spy flicks, or I suppose, it'll continue to be a month of spy flicks, but with Marvel trying their hand at it. This will be, what? Marvel's third November release? I wonder which will do better at the box office. The last Bond film, Spectre, did tremendously at the box office, and it wasn't even the most highly regarded of the Daniel Craig lead Bond movies. Audiences and critics seemed to like it, not love it. I haven't even seen it yet. Should be a fun month.

I have a feeling we'll be chomping at the bit to get Black Widow once this Falcon and Winter Soldier show concludes. This is unfortunate, but understandable. We'll have a couple months lull in Marvel content no doubt, but that's a hell of a lot better than 2020 or the old days. Also, we know that Marvel's "What If?" is coming out in 2021, but there's no definitive date, so there's still plenty to look forward to.

We will have Loki through June and July though.

I forgot Loki was coming out so soon. In that case, we'll only have maybe 3-4 weeks of lull. Not bad at all.
