This is a real tough one... The Empire State building has a cooler design, but the CN Tower is much higher and more impressive, in my opinion. So... I don't know, yet.

i knew the empire state building wasn't that tall compared to alot of other structures but i had no idea the CN tower was that much taller. its probably due to its spire. i would expect if its compared by top floor it wouldn't be too much taller then the empire state building. doesn't effect my judgement. the empire state building is much more of a wonder. first of all it was constructed in the 1930's while the CN Tower was in the 70's considering the time it was built makes it a wonder in its self. to make it even more impressive only 5 people died during construction out of the nearly 4,000 workers. other reasons why its awesome. it survived a plane crash in 1945. a B-25 got lost in the fog and crashed into the 80th floor. its engine flew clear out the other side and for another block. other parts of the plane managed to cut the elevator line. a woman was in the elevator near the top floor and survived the 75 foot free fall to the bottom. the fire was put in in 40 min and only 14 people died in the accident. the empire state building was open for business the fallowing monday. oh and if thats not enough reasoning. i'll give you one more KING KONG! i rest my case

But I'll stick with the CN Tower. If a plane crashed in it, I bet almost nothing would really happen... I mean, it's practically all made of massive concrete.
