I got into this one recently and I love it. It's pretty much Seinfeld on crack. Some people might find the humor a bit touchy sometimes, but if you like comedy that pushes the boundaries, then you should check it out sometime

I'm not insulting Seinfeld, but Phildelphia has been compared to Seinfeld because it also has the "show about nothing" premise going, except for the characters on Phildelphia are a lot cruder and more depraved then the ones on Seinfeld. Here is the TV tropes description of the show if that helps
"It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is a critically acclaimed sitcom that began in 2005 and airs on FX (with reruns now airing on Comedy Central as well.) The show goes to great lengths bringing the Unsympathetic Comedy Protagonist to new lows. The 3 guys, 1 girl structure and selfish characters have led many critics to compare the show to Seinfeld, and was frequently called "Seinfeld on crack" by critics. The show follows the gang which consists of Dennis Reynolds, Deandra "Sweet Dee" Reynolds, Charlie Kelly, and Mac. They run Paddy's Pub, a struggling Philadelphia bar. Dennis is the vain preppy from a rich family. Dee is Dennis' sister and was intended to be Closer To Earth, but now is equally as drunken, crass, and irresponsible as the rest of the gang. Charlie is the high-strung idiot-savant who is obsessed with the waitress at a coffee shop and will always be the one to write things because of his learning disability. Mac is the wanna-be bruiser sometimes Christian (only when it doesn't inconvenience him). In the second season Dennis and Dee's dad, Frank (Danny Devito) joins the cast."
again, it's a funny show, and if you don't have a problem with humor that can be touchy, it's worth checking out

lol, I loved that scene, I do feel bad for Charlie sometimes though, he's the only one of the gang who is sympathetic
