Anyone get anything good? My big gifts were Ted 2 on DVD and the new Jenga Quake game (cause the game wasn't hard enough without having it shake, lol). At a gift exchange at work I got the Green Lantern Extended Cut on Blu-Ray. I already got the regular version on DVD, but I don't mind having the Blu-Ray. Besides, I didn't outright hate the movie. Plus, it came in a pretty awesome Amazing Spider-Man 2 giftbag. I don't usually keep gift bags, but I'm making an exception. I'm waiting on one more gift from a friend, but she says it's running late.
I went pretty far on my friend's gifts this year again. For one friend I got her a Spider-Gwen hoodie and the first trade of the series. For another, I got her a TARDIS hoodie and made a combined CD of Angels and Airwaves' "The Dream Walker" album and "...Of Nightmares" EP, which focus on the concept of Poet Anderson. I got my mom a few things, but the big thing was the Cosmic Mix soundtrack from the Guardians of the Galaxy animated series. Kind of fits since I got her the Awesome Mix last year and she did grow up in the era they use songs from.

That's a lot of ladies there BIB. Next time I want to surprise Mrs.Excellent with a gift, I'll ask for your advice. My family spoiled me this year. There was a lot of personalized stuff. My mom made this shadow box from all my childhood medals (thru high school). It's overwhelming in the best way possible. My in-laws and wife got me some nice work clothes and a couple blu-rays. The items that I couldn't wait to dig into were the giant bag of neon gummy worms, the Age of Ultron Lego Quinjet, and the Rhino and Sandman villain team up set. Mrs.E did a lot of seasonal type of work so that we could be as generous as possible to our friends and family. My family is big, so we did a lot of team up gifts, but we got some positive emotional reactions from people, which was a score. The gift I'm most excited to give still hasn't been given. It's a Tardis from Lego Ideas that we're giving to an old friend who is visiting from New York.

I got the best gift a couple weeks ago, from December 1st through December 12th. The first item I got was a music box playing the song The Twelve Days of Christmas, which set the tone for the days that followed (on the first day, I received one gift, on the second, two, and so on). It was pretty much everything I liked, ranging from food items to Blu-Rays, passing through movie tickets and nights at a hotel in a neighbouring city. It was an extremely thoughtful set of gifts, and it's probably the best I have gotten in my whole life.

Not so fast, E! There's still competition over who will win Mrs. Excellent's heart!

Hold on there mister "I can use one letter to represent another user's full username"! There's only one Fresh Prince in these parts, and he certainly ain't in Montreal! I tell ya what, a cold shower is what you're gonna need when my two fists Shoe and Shine get through with ya! Or were their names Betty and Wilma? (What's more intimidating? I'm trying to sound tough here.)
