I'm going to add Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol to my list. The trailer looks pretty sick, Brad Bird directed it, J.J. Abrams was part of the writing team, and Jeremy Renner looks to be set up as a bad ass. Something about the cinematography grabs me though, I wonder if IMAX cameras were used for some of the scenes. There will be an IMAX release, but that doesn't mean anything.

John Carter of Mars.
I know that this movie doesn't come out until next year, but I didn't want to create a new thread for it. The trailer for this is really cool for multiple reasons.
1. It appears to be another attempt at the Western Sci Fi mash up. I get the feeling that this movie will be unique in the sense that Tron was unique. I didn't love Tron, but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't entertaining in a way that was fresh (sequel or no).
2. Super powered human in space. You see the trailer and there's a glimpse of what he can do. It just looks cool.
3. Willem Dafoe.
4. The music. It provokes my curiosity.

the posters were awesome. the trailer didn't garner the same feeling. i'd prefer a more grounded approach to space. less cgi and what not. but still looks cool.

The one coming out this year? Cause there's another movie titled "Love" in 2012. Anywho, I'm interested in Tower Heist. Eddie Murphy is just acting like Eddie Murphy again it seems, but this movie looks pretty well put together. Nothing too exciting to get jazzed about though.

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (2011, David Fincher version)
There's a trailer up at yahoo movies that's nearly 4 minutes long. The film is supposed to be an original take on the Stieg Larson novel, and not a remake of the 2008 Swedish version. If you've seen the Swedish version, then you already have a pretty good idea on what the movie will be about. From what I can see, the plot is very similar. This movie looks worth watching though.
My only fear is that the movie will drag on and on, like Zodiac. That was a good movie, but it could've been shorter. I get what Fincher was going for, but I think that the idea of the murder case being examined for decades and never being solved was taken too literally. I think the audience could've gotten the point that Gyllenhall was obsessed with the mystery without the inclusion of every personal hiccup in his life along the way. So.....hopefully TGWDT is engaging the whole way through and time is of no consequence.

i'd disagree on zodiac i didn't find it that long or that it dragged on. the story is what it is. why fudge a true story?

Sleeping Beauty (independent film version).
I just might see all of them, but so far I only know of 2. One of them looks like high class erotica, the other has Chris Hemsworth and Kristen Stewart.

New trailer for "Snow White and the Huntsmen". This movie looks awesome. Visually, it's there. You guys have to see this: www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/JakeLester/news/?a=49665Also, so even though my last post is nearly a month old, I need to correct myself on it. There are supposed to be 3 "Snow White" movies next year, not Sleeping Beauty movies. And on this, I could be wrong too because now I'm thinking the people I got this from mixed Sleeping Beauty with Snow White and there could just be one of each or two of one and then one of another. It's word vomit at this point. What do you guys think of the trailer? You seeing the Kristen Stewart Snow White movie?
