AND BEHOLD! THE SUIT! From 'Prophecy'. Looks like they picked the Superman Returns suit.

Screenshots (SPOILERS): www.superherohype.com/news/articles/167287-screenshots-and-video-from-the-smallville-finaleKey scenes in finale: www.youtube.com/user/xxteargodxxHere's a recap of the finale: Tess is confronted by Granny Goodness, who attempts to persuade Tess to join with Darkseid before revealing that the planet Apokolips is coming to Earth to destroy everything. While verifying the threat, Tess discovers that Oliver has used Watchtower to place all satelites offline to prevent the detection of Apokolips. Desaad, Godfrey, and Granny supply Oliver with a wedding ring made of gold kryptonite to give to Clark, as it will remove his powers. Chloe discovers the gold kryptonite ring and keeps Clark from wearing it. Afterward, Clark helps Oliver to remove the Omega symbol and destroy Darkseid's control over him. Lionel kidnaps Tess in an effort to transplant her heart into another Lex clone, but Tess gets the upperhand and shoots Lionel. Darkseid arrives and Lionel trades his soul for Lex's life. Possessing Lionel, Darkseid confronts Clark, who finally realizes what Jor-El was preparing him for his entire life. Clark accesses his power of flight and vanquishes Darkseid from Lionel's deceased body. Newly revived Lex kills Tess, but not before Tess uses a neurotoxin to erase all of Lex's memories. Clark goes to the Fortress of Solitude and receives the suit Martha made for him before flying away to stop Apokolips from destroying Earth. By moving Apokolips away from Earth, Clark brings hope to humanity and breaks their connection to Darkseid. Flash forward seven years into the future, Chloe is a mother of a boy strongly hinted to be the son of Oliver, Lois and Clark again plans to get married after failed attempt years ago because of the invasion, Lex wins his presidency, Daily Planet's newly recruited photographer Jimmy Olsen follows his deceased brother's footsteps, and Clark becomes Superman after hearing another crisis in the city. I was happy with the ending but I feel a little bit cheated because we saw so little of the suit.

i agree, but you have to admit they had some very impressive CGI with superman.
its just a shame we couldn't' even get a waste up shot. lex shows up for one day of shooting and had to shave his head.
and tom welling couldn't wear the suit for 30 seconds.
the main idea of the episode of having clark finally fully embrace who he is, but at the same time look to the future.
he is not clark pretending to be superman or superman pretending to be clark. He is Clark Kent and Superman.
that was one of many in this episode. I think they did a great job with a lot of things.
