As if they didn't know where he was all along... I think they just needed him dead by now for some reason, maybe it has something to do with all the rebellions in the middle-east. Maybe not, I'm just speculating.

more conspiracies from a bored canadian.
we've known he's been there for a few months now. not the public of course he'd of left.
the original plan was to blow the shit out of him, but by comic book logic he'd still be alive.
we had to go in there all tactical kill him and retrieve the body.
once again webber you offend. nice job. he has nothing to do with the rebellions. ignorance and arrogance wrapped up in a little package called webber.

Why always boring theories?
It's nice to have some spicy stuff sometimes, don't see how that's offending this time.
I know he has nothing to do with the current rebellions, but maybe they were just afraid he'd have some influence on some Islamist groups that would take over afterwards.
Just fun conspiracy theories...why not? As long as there's no intended consequences in my thoughts.

your suggesting the mastermind of 9/11 has been kept alive for years to kill him for some half baked reason.
why is it fun to make shit up and spread lies. what if everyone believed the governemnt knew and didn't do anthing?
spicy sure, but thats achey for some consequence don't you think?
i hate conspiracies. thought i made that clear before. what good do they do? all they do is promote inaccuracies and paranoia.

in the end of the day this was a victory. mostly symbolic but very very important. think of a future where all we can say is we didn't get the bin laden. that would be terrible. we have closure now. he's dead his lackies who really made it happen are dead. we got the job done. i don't know an american with any heart who didn't smile with this news. to be the guys who took him out. no matter how hard their training was. they had to smile. is it smiley for a death. yes, but its more of a new era. we can in part move on from 9/11. i'm not against good hearted jokes even some really dark ones on 9/11. but lets not sour the news for at least today. no conspiracy, this was the chance we had on him and we took it. no waiting no lying this is the truth and it is good. if you get on msn soon. i'll have soemthing that'll make you smile webber. seriously you'll love it be there after dinner.

I'll come on later, it's not working now...
And don't get me wrong, I'm not sad at all that he died. You know me though... Inevitable stuff is inevitable.

If I was in D.C. when the news hit, I wouldn't have gathered with the crowd to sing the national anthem and cheer. I am happy to have some closure on the 9/11 issue, but really when you think about it, there will probably never be such a thing as complete closure on this issue.
Bin Laden was a symbol for a lot of people, and even though we've targeted the regimes he was specifically affiliated with, no one knows who will look to this man's example for inspiration in the future. With that bit of sour out of the way,...
I do, however, nod my head with the satisfaction of knowing that Bin Laden will no longer be around to encourage/promote more acts of terrorism. Sure there will always be new bad guys to fill the shoes of old bad guys, but that doesn't change the fact that there is one less in the world without him. In a situation like this, complete closure isn't needed. This is something that will help people keep on keeping on, in spite of the further tribulations ahead.
