@1:11, Self-Destructing Zombie Xeno. Like I needed another reason to get this game.

So yeah, they really botched it up for a game with so much hype. I didn't really get the same experience as when I played the last AVP game, which was more scary and difficult for me. Here's a list for what I mean: * The Xenos didn't run right at you. * You didn't have so many ammo, armor, or health pick-ups, or constant assistance from other marines to help you out so much; you had to strategize. * The Xenos' acid blood was more prominent, showing them disentigrate when they die, giving off damage if it splashes in your face or you step in it, and would make them explode if they were on fire. And initially the sewer level with the boilers is scary, but since I messed up the jump to the control panel a few times and had to restart from the last checkpoint, I noticed where the real ones were so I knew where I could rush and where to take it slow. I'd also like to know how exactly Weyland-Yutani got another queen. So yeah, I feel screwed. Really glad I didn't waste money on the Collector's Edition.

i'm glad i didn't waste any money. licenses are 90% of the time bad news for video games. yeah movie games have terrible schedules, but i think the other element is how expensive licenses are companies that manage the cost really are working on a strict budget. The game wasn't looking like a AAA quality and clearly this game went under some terrible management. They wanted all sorts of features and apparently came out with none of them.

Bringing the conversation over here: So A:CM appears to be Mass Effect 3 all over again, deceit and all…though to be fair to BioWare, at least they actually put some effort into ME3, the A:CM playthroughs I've watched look really bad apart from the sewer level. granted i haven't played A:CM, but that is a terrible comparison. ME3 is a great game with a poorly executed finale, but still quality in the mechanics. I mean the game actually works with functioning AI which A:CM couldn't even manage from what the youtube videos are showing. Not even mentioning the huge graphical difference between games. I'll accept that ME3 has far superior mechanics but it doesn't excuse the obvious bugs that could have been fixed before release. The main point of comparsion I was trying to make was the way both developers decieved it's fanbase.
