American car company Shelby SuperCars announced today that their upcoming product will dethrone Bugatti Veyron's speed record and become the fastest production car of all time. Keep in mind that the Super Sports pulled off an astonishing 267.81mph (!!!) to beat SSC's Ultimate Aero (whose record was over 256mph). Will the latter be avenged? Guess we'll find out pretty soon. Here are some pictures of the Shelby SuperCars Tuatara. I think it looks pretty slick.

Woah shit. Not only does this baby look sleek and smooth, but it's boasting some pretty high caliber horsepower. Beating the bugatti veyron? We'll see. Even if it's a bluff, this thing's impressive.

I think it might. I mean, SSC themselves have beaten the Bugatti Veyron. Bugatti replied with the Super Sports to get their record back, and now SSC is wanting revenge.

Can't wait to see the results. I actually would like this car to dethrone Super Sports. It's good to see somebody new at the top. And who knows what other companies will respond with.
