Looks pretty awesome, but what's up with the atrocious voice acting?

Which part was atrocious? I thought it was pretty solid. That game play though, damn.

Okay, atrocious may be too strong of a word, but the dialogue at the beginning really felt unnatural and forced to me.

It appears that instead of a co-op mode, there'll be missions where you team-up with an ally and be able to perform combos with them.

So, I thought the game was pretty fun. Finished it before comic con. The Batmobile is quite awesome. The story was okay. I really did enjoy a lot of the side missions like shutting down the drone towers, destroying the drone-drones (I forget what they're called, the flying drones), and some other spoilery stuff that I don't want to spoil for anyone. I will say that the story kind of let me down. Its been done so many times before, and while repetitiveness doesn't make something bad, I don't think the execution was anything special really. Not talking about the actual game, just the story element of it. Who else has played through? Hopefully no one was too affected by their lackluster PC roll out.

I have. And yeah, the spoilery stuff I think you're talking about was pretty predictable. I was surprised at how much the Batmobile was used too; it definitely took me awhile to get a handle of the controls. After playing it through a couple times, this was a fun game. After a lot of frustration trying to finish it the first time (mostly due to the fact that I tried to play it all in one night not knowing the length and complexity of the main campaign), it was a lot easier after that, and I can really appreciate what was put into it.

I'd say this is more of an overall "Be The Batman" experience than a detective game per se. I mean, there's those insanely fun Batmobile missions, and the combat in those games is a hoot. Then again, I haven't played this game in at least 2 years. I wonder what it would be like going back and playing it after experiencing the glorious Spider-man on PS4? Granted, the Arkham series inspired a lot of the stuff in Spider-Man's PS4 game, but the PS4 game definitely took it to the next level I'd say in terms of what was possible with the game play.

Yeah, it's been quite awhile since I played Arkham games as well. Granted, I like to replay them all back to back over a period in time (main stories only and including Origins) so it's partially a matter of free time. But I agree, Spider-Man has really upped the ante, not just in combat but story structure as well.
