Total Recall.
Has Collin Ferrel in it. I think it looks super cool. It wasn't even on my radar until I saw the trailer today.

very cool, but i'm a little shaky on the premise. if the premise is the entire movie. i'm sold. not knowing if this is a recall or if its real, but if its the movie answers the question and just says from now on this is reality then its just a generic dystopian action movie in my opinion.

The Bourne Legacy. That trailer kicked my ass.
The original series was good for gritty fight scenes and decent plot progression, but I don't remember a damn thing about them other than the fact that Matt Damon is in them, and that I thought "Hey, decent story". Now I shall go back and watch them all.

Snow White and the Huntsman isn't doing so hot with the critics, but I was always interested in watching it for its visual fair. After reading Roger Ebert's review of the film, I must say, I'm still intrigued.
He spent his entire review talking about how beautiful the special effects and art direction were. He doesn't criticize the acting like other critics have done so far. I'm not above watching a movie for the special effects, so I'm definitely going to go and catch this real soon. I guess Prometheus will be next up after that.

Now I shall go back and watch them all. that's exactly how i feel. the films had great action and i remember the story being good, but i don't really remember the story. it involved some secret program to create super spies basically and he was apart of it but lost his memory by accident or intentional and he comes back to shut it down. i think.

Sounds right. It's kinda funny, because usually when I think a story is good, I can remember it.

Django Unchained.
It's packed with celebrities who actually can act, it's Quentin Tarantino's first outing since Inglorious Basterds, and it looks awesome.

Oz: The Great and Powerful
It's directed by Sam Raimi, and it looks alright. It's not screaming out to me right now, but when the accolades started popping up I got chills. "From the director of the Spider-man trilogy". I've been praising a lot from Webb lately, but I wish Sam Raimi well and I'm excited to see his new project and what he's going to do after it.

yeah but i doubt the first film was built around gore or a brutal anti hero or anything like that. regardless i get the issue of it feeling a bit tame.

The Lone Ranger- I'm not interested in this film all that much, but the trailer played as a very serious film. This doesn't seem like the type of thing that Jerry Bruckheimer usually pulls out of his ass. At the same time, there has been a lot of controversy surrounding this bird from the get go. I may check it out. As a fan of Westerns, "The Lone Ranger" never appealed to me as much as Bonanza, The Rifle Man, The Kentuckian, Cheyenne, etc. I can hardly remember any of those shows except for Bonanza, but my point is that Ranger just wasn't my cup of tea. I want to see what they do with it.

Gangster Squad. Here's the trailer:
You've got Nick Nolte, Josh Brolin, Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling, and Emma Stone. I don't know what it is about this movie, but I think it's going to be slick. That line that Gosling drops after Stone asks "Are you looking to take me away from all this?"
He says, "No ma'am, I was just looking to take you to bed." It just worked in that trailer.
Oh, and then there's Ben Affleck's "Argo".
That movie also has some power in its cast: Affleck, Cranston, John Goodman... I could've sworn there were more. Still, it looks fantastic.

Now You See Me
Mark Ruffalo, Isla Fischer, Morgan Freeman, Jessie Eisenberg, and some other people whose names I refuse to misspell. This could easily turn out to be a turkey, but the trailer teases a pretty clever experience.

The Bling Ring
The trailer looks good, and when I say that, I don't mean it's something that'll be endearing to me. Rather, it effectively makes me want to smack all of the main characters. I think that's what it's going for. I think it'll be kind of like "Spring Breakers", where it sheds light on deeper seeded issues within the culture that it's exploring. Maybe I'm wrong, I didn't watch Spring Breakers myself, but I get the feeling that this is an attempt to take a jab at the celebrity worship our society has more or less embraced.

Not saying I'm looking forward to this, but Bay seems to have reinvigorated the franchise. The tone here would have been much appreciated in the 2009 sequel. Also, the visual effects look improved, and I never complained about them before. Who am I kidding? I'll see it, and I won't be surprised if it turns out to be a lump of shit. What I am saying, is that Bay does not make boring films, and this one looks like it could be a return to some of his better work on this franchise.

There's a movie coming out called "If I Stay", starring Chloe Grace Moretz. I don't know if it'll turn out to be any good, the trailer starts out pretty good and then turns into the typical looking, although well done, material. I'm a sap, so even if it is typical stuff, I think I'd enjoy it.
