Lots of Nirvana stuff on the radio to commemorate their 20th aniversary or something.
Also, Switchfoot's latest album vice verses is up on youtube. I'll be buying it in a couple of days. It's a solid album, and an improvement from Hello Hurricane (which was pretty good too).

"For Martha" by The Smashing Pumpkins. I've actually had the whole, "Adore", album on repeat. Pumpkins first departure from their dreamy, big muff, grungy sound couldn't have gone better. Incredible work.

Well currently I'm listening to music from the Sherlock tv series. Honestly it's great stuff. On the side I'm always listening to The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, Muse, and Led Zeppelin. Most of the time I'm listening to film scores.

@sandman I got pretty Pink Floyd crazy there for a while. I have two shirts , a poster and The Wall cd. Once I get money I'm gonna get all the re-mastered cds at Wal-Mart. Oh dude that's awesome! I've got The Wall, Dark Side Of The Moon, and TheDivision Bell CDs and The Wall movie. I grew up with Floyd and The Wall happens to be my favorite album.

I have recently been listening to a lot of The Cure. I mean, A LOT. I'm listening to their third album, "Faith", again now. It's most excellent. I really enjoy the rocking Cure that shows in the first album and then the more ambient, dark Cure that's shown the best in the second album. "Faith", has a nice mix. It's also the first Cure album to feature Robert Smith using a baritone guitar/six string bass, which I love. A lot of the lyrics are really incredible too. Like with this song, "Doubt".

I've heard material from The Cure and Smashing Pumpkins because those bands are legendary, but I've never sat down and chewed on their stuff. I want to, because what I've heard has, as Jack Black likes to say "turned my mind to shit". I love their sound, their treatment of certain topics, they're a good book I very much look forward to getting into very soon.
As for right now, I spent some time listening to Weezer's Pinkerton album. It's... something. Upon its release it received a sound thrashing from critics and Weezer fans. Poor guys, now a days I hear it's considered one of the better Rock albums out there, all time status. I don't know about all that, but I can say that Rivers was onto something when him and the band put those recordings together. "Tragic Girl" kicked my ass, that song just hit me like a ton of bricks.
