Who here doesn't like Lego's? Go ahead, raise your hands in shame... that's what I thought. Just kidding, but I thought I'd make a thread for this. Didn't know where to put this, but I figured no one would be too angry at its semi-misplacement.
To start things off, I recently started to feed into my obsession, now that I have, you know. Adult money. My wife and I own a few of the more recent Marvel sets, but also some of the better sets from the original Spider-man films. There's the laboratory set with Green Goblin, the train set with Doc Ock. Our more recent sets include:
Iron Man Malibu Mansion Attack
Starblaster Showdown (GOTG)
The Milano Spaceship Rescue
X-Men vs. The Sentinal
Hulk Lab Smash
Batman: Man-Bat Attack
This past weekend, my brother bought the Imperial Star Destroyer. This version has about 1300 pieces and is going for $130 dollars in the U.S. Apparently it's not the only version of the ship, or the most detailed. Brother and I share a birthday, so I kind of egged him on to "buy it for himself" with the money I gave him. It took us 4 hours to build, and it was a sort of communal event with he and I, a cousin, and my brother-in-law. It has been my coolest Lego adventure as of yet, and honestly, the only experience of this kind I've had period. So now I ask you all, what is your history with Lego's? Any collectors among you?
Other miscellaneous sets:
Anakin's Pod Racer
Droid Tank from Phantom Menace
Ninjago dojo set (one of the earlier sets)
The Hogwarts Castle (from the original Harry Potter)
Two detailed two-story houses from the Creator Series
