We were talking a little about the X-Men's current stance in the comics in the Astonishing thread and whether or not Marvel was killing them off or not. Well we have a bit of good news: www.newsarama.com/31684-what-is-this-new-x-men-titles-line-up-coming-from-resurrxion-marvel-explains.htmlI hope this finally puts to rest those conspiracy theories, but it probably adds fuel to the fire that relations are getting better between Marvel and Fox. The titles I'm most interested in at the moment are the Blue and Gold books. I tell you, I haven't been this excited for X-Men comics since Schism/Regenesis. I just hope that both Blue and Gold are consistently good; when the team split off back in 2011 with 'Uncanny X-Men' and 'Wolverine and the X-Men', I found Uncanny hit and miss while W&TXM was a fun ride.

Wow, that's awesome! I just wonder if they'll eventually bring the old Wolverine back to life. I know he's supposedly stuck in solidified adamantium statue form, but he never stays dead for good. At the same time, I'd be perfectly fine if it was just Old Man Logan from now on. I really like his character, especially in the new issues.

www.newsarama.com/32142-creators-cast-more-revealed-for-twice-monthly-x-men-blue-and-gold-titles.htmlUncanny X-Men writer Cullen Bunn will write X-Men: Blue, joined by recent Star Wars artist Jorge Molina. Bunn will bring Magneto over from Uncanny to lead the team, which consists of the time-tossed original X-Men Jean Grey, Cyclops, Iceman, Beast, and Angel. Although Magneto has grown to be much more than a one-note villain, these throwback original X-Men know Magneto almost exclusively for his villainous actions early in X-Men history.Arrow co-showrunner Marc Guggenheim returns to the X-titles as writer of X-Men: Gold, joined by recent Superman artist Ardian Syaf. Kitty Pryde will lead this team, reuniting with her Excalibur teammates Nightcrawler and Rachel Grey, as well as her original X-Men teammates Storm, Colossus, and Old Man Logan. Now that I have more info, I'll just be adding Gold. Not only does it line up with what I like about the X-Men, but after 4 years, I still don't care about the time-displaced original 5.
