I can't believe it, but we're finally here!
Apparently, Millie Bobby Brown of Stranger Things Fame is rumored to be in talks for the film. I'm super curious to see how it goes, and who she could be playing! Eleven is in the house(maybe)!!! Also, this was released last Friday:

My only concern for this movie is that it will be too bloated. You've got all the Avengers, plus Guardians of the Galaxy (including Yondu and Nebula), Spider-Man, Black Panther, Winter Soldier, etc. all in one movie. Who do you guys think will die, btw?

One of the things Marvel's proved they can do is their ability to manage a large cast.
I've kind of heard that Yondu might die in Guardians 2, not to mention he hasn't been confirmed for Infinity War.
As for deaths in Infinity War, Vision's kind of obvious since Thanos will want to rip the Mind Stone out of him, but it might be too obvious. The only other idea I can think of is Steve Rogers. Yes, like RDJ and Hemsworth, Evans' contract is up after this, but out of the trinity, his character's the only one who's had a major death. Besides that, that opens up the potential for Bucky or Falcon (hopefully Bucky since Sebastian Stan does have more movies on his contract) to take up the shield in the future.

I think Vision, Cap, Hawkeye, and Scarlet Witch are all going to die across the span of Avengers 3 and 4, but idk which ones will die in which movie. I have specific reasons I think each one of these characters will die. Vision and Cap will die because of what blacky said. Hawkeye will die because (and this could be a rumor) Jeremy Renner has stated he doesn't like playing the character and his contract is up to expire soon, and I think Wanda will die because she will attack Thanos in response to him killing Vision and get killed herself.

Those are some good reasons. I wasn't entirely kidding up there when I said I don't want anyone to die. I mean, it goes without saying that a death is just about the biggest thing you can do in a movie to shake things up, but I think that a well crafted story doesn't necessarily need to depend on death to get emotional value. That said, if main characters do die, which is a big possibility, I certainly hope they can give it the weight it deserves without it feeling heavy handed or underserved. It's a tough balance. With Amazing Spider-man 2, I was so upset that they killed Gwen because her death didn't need to happen, and yet I was more moved by her death scene than I have been for any that have taken place in the MCU so far. Maybe it's because she was a bigger character in the Marc Webb Spiderverse than any who have died in the MCU, but still. That web hand reaching out to Gwen was as unexpectedly poignant as the 'birth of Sandman' scene in Spider-man 3.
Anyway, back to Infinity War, what are you guys looking forward to most in this movie? I can't put it in any order, but I'm hoping to see the following:
New Worlds: They need to get GOTG Vol.2 level bonkers with these environments.
New Iron Man Armor: It needs to be hyped up. Tony always gets an upgrade, but it's not special any more. We don't even get to see what the new suits do to distinguish them from the older suits. They're basically just like skins from a video game that don't have any special abilities. There's rumors that something may happen that requires him to get the arc reactor back in his chest. These are based on new set photos with RDJ wearing a shirt that has an arc reactor sized hole in the chest. If this is the case, I think it would be really cool for them to go full Extremis, Bleeding Edge, or even go with that newer suit he has that basically turns into whatever suit he needs it to be. Point is, Thanos is coming to town, and Iron Man's old suits aren't gonna cut it. They never last a full movie.
Smaller Team Ups to complement the Bigger Team Ups: They can't all be on screen at the same time, but there's too many of them to not have some cool special teams scenes. Tony and Rocket have to share the screen together, they just have to. Same goes for Tony with Dr.Strange. People are anticipating Drax and the Hulk, but to be honest, I'd much rather Drax and Thor be paired up as their personalities complement each other and they'd most likely throw down with each other while simultaneously watching each other's backs. I need to see the Peter's together: Star Lord and Spider-man. I also want to see Cap' team up with Spider-man as well. While Black Panther may be the most dynamic fighter in the MCU right now, it's Cap and Spider-man who'd make the best hand-to-hand combat team up for me. I'd love to see Black Panther, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and the Dora Milaje break off and wreck some s*** too.
Color! Let's do this right Russos! I actually enjoyed the color palette from Winter Soldier, but for whatever reason, not quite so much in Civil War. Maybe it was the same gradient, I don't know. It just worked for me in Winter Soldier, whereas in Civil War I wanted something with a little more pop. The complaining got pretty loud after Civil War came out. Funny thing is, Marvel was already working on it because Dr.Strange and GOTG Vol.2 are the most colorful films the MCU has had thus far. Here's hoping they don't dull it down too much. This should be the most vibrant and colorful superhero movie put to screen.

So, I saw the leaked version of the Infinity War trailer. It has been taken down now, or at least the version I saw. Looks sick, even with the crappy quality. My excitement is a little bit subdued tho considering I read all of the D23 descriptions last week and there was a giant head in the way of a lot of shots from the version I watched. Still tho, good to see some Hulkbuster, a lot of Spider-man, some cool shots of Panther and Captain America/Nomad/beardedChrisEvans. Looks like just about all of them are there, except for Marvel and the Ant Man characters.
EDIT: I love how in all the versions I saw online (which keep getting pulled down), when Peter Parker shows up he gets the loudest cheer in comparison to all of the other Avengers. Go Spidey!

The spider sense shot was really cool, and I'm loving the new look for Cap. One thing I predicted prior to watching the leaked trailer was that other than the main ten Avengers (Iron Man, Cap, Hulk, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Thor, Scarlet Witch, Vision, Falcon, and War Machine), we'd probably mostly see the Guardians of the Galaxy in terms of other characters, with other heroes such as Black Panther, Spidey, Ant Man, etc, would be more brief or supporting appearances, and it appears from the footage that this is so. It looks like it will have a good balance of screen time between characters and having a lot of the Guardians ties into the Thanos story well because of Gamorra and Nebula.

I love that they're going all in with the original Avengers theme. It's by far Marvel's best.

Can't wait to see this in IMAX when the CGI is finished. I remember reading an interview from Kevin Feige or possibly the Russos. The interviewer asked them about that scene in the D23 footage where Thanos threw a piece of the moon at the Avengers. Their reply was "[you ain't seen nothing yet]". I will admit that yesterday's tease for the trailer got me emotionally. However, as beautiful as this trailer is visually, I'm kicking myself for watching the bootlegged version. I'm hyped, but the Black Panther trailer actually has me more hyped for the BP solo film. I think part of it isn't this film's fault. Unfortunately with Infinity War, it's being billed as the conclusion to the last 10 years worth of films, but we know that the 4th Avengers film is the real conclusion. So I'm left wondering, is this going to be a cliff hanger with no real resolve? Marvel certainly doesn't want us to think so.
They even went so far as to change Infinity War's follow up from being Infinity War part 2 to just being the "Untitled Avenger's 4" movie. They're saying that these are 2 separate movies that tell their own unique stories, yet they are being filmed at the same time and they were originally introduced as Part 1 and Part 2. They're trying to pretend like this wasn't the case, but when they did that press junket at the El Capitan theater a couple years ago, that was definitely the case. You can Google it and see the old logos for Thor Ragnarok, Dr. Strange, and even Inhumans (shout out to Captain America: Serpent Society lol). So, it's hard to say if this is just a smart PR move** to bill Infinity War as the conclusion, or if this film will really provide closure and close the books and some major characters and themes before the official end to the MCU as we know it when Avengers 4 comes out.
Not to be a total downer though. If anything, the people are Marvel Studios have shown their super power to be their ability to evolve and improve with each phase. They aren't afraid to change their plans and to make them better. This may simply be one of those situations. Here's hoping. I'm definitely excited to see Thanos finally get out of that damn space chair, lol.
**Since half baked 2 part movies that should've been one movie have sort of fallen out of the public's grace since the Twilights and Hobbits and Hunger Games's, etc. have worn out their welcome.

I guess Vision is the obvious pick, though he might live through some crazy wizardry, I dunno.

I was just thinking about how much I wanted an earlier release date. Upon their prior release date, Disney had Solo coming out 3 weeks after Infinity War and Deadpool 2 releasing 2 weeks after Infinity War. This way, you get 3 weeks before Deadpool 2 which has a huge crossover fanbase, and 4 weeks Infinity War and Solo.
