Man, it's crazy the connections you have to the entertainment media by extension. Like, I remember you mentioning something about William Zabka from Cobra Kai being linked to your church somehow also. Haven't you also mentioned a connection to actor Mandy Patinkin? Or I dunno, that might've been another friend, but still. I'm under the impression that your congregation is of modest size. Is that correct? If so, then any connection to the wider entertainment industry is pretty wild.

Its connections spread across multiple platforms. One from church, a few from camp, some from Instagram. It's a long story and it's all just coincidence actually

Well, if you ever feel like sharing, I'm all ears. I eat this kind of stuff up. On another note, I saw a positive update on FB about your father. Praying for all the best for your family.

The Karate Kid connection is a kid from camp being Zabkas nephew. That and the camera operator's mother going to my church are the only two I can think of. Jars of Clay bassist had a kid who went to camp there too that I met

Antman is my nephew's favorite MCU series so far so I definitely look forward to watching this one with him in particular.

Marvel Studios has made it a point for all of their films to feel like events. Then, they started coming up with mega events like Civil War and the Avengers movies, but even those are spread out after 1 or two solo films. What's insane about Marvel Studios right now is that all of their upcoming movies feel like huge events. They all are. It's like every movie is on the level of an Avenger film, but they aren't using the same "gimmick" every time. I love it!
Seriously, it's almost impossible to say which film will be the biggest: Will it be Eternals? Ant Man and the Wasp: Quantumania? Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3? Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness?
What about the "solo" films? Will it be Spider-man: No Way Home? Black Widow? (probably not but it looks to be close to Fast 9's levels of insanity) Shang Chi? Thor: Love and Thunder? The Marvel's? Black Panther: Wakanda Forever? Do ANY of them (except for Black Widow) even qualify for solo status any more? What are Black Panther or The Marvel's even gonna be?

Antman Quantumania Begins Filming in.ign.com/ant-man-and-the-wasp-quantumania/163357/news/ant-man-and-the-wasp-quantumania-begins-filmingThis was from 2 days ago. So exciting! While Guardians of the Galaxy and Love and Thunder will take us to new planets and Black Panther will take us to hidden worlds within our own planet, Antman will take us to somewhere... how would we even describe this? It's like a pocket universe perhaps, like with its own physics and stuff? I don't know, but it promises to be unlike anything else going on, that's for sure. One of the things that I loved about Godzilla vs. Kong is their hollow earth stuff. They really made me feel as a spectator that I had been transported to a place unknown. Like the Quantum Realm, the hollow earth location had its own physics and ecosystem and everything, and as a spectator I really felt the grandiosity of it all. It was HUGE, the scope of it. I'd like to see something on that same level of grandiosity and weird from Quantumania.
