I finally finished the game. Overall, I quite liked it. There were times when I got tired of playing, times when I felt like the villains getting a second, 3rd, and even 4th wind just made the villain battles drag on too long and felt too repetitive. In the end though, finishing the story was satisfying. I ended up finishing the story before taking out all of the Venom pods, so the city still has some symbiote towers across the city. From a gaming standpoint I can see how you'd still be left to finish those activities. From a story standpoint though, those things should be dead. In the end, this was one of my favorite gaming experiences ever. I will probably never go back and finish those Mysterio challenges, but I could see myself trying to take out the Kraven strongholds. Truth be told, I am so bad at this game. It's a wonder I beat it in the first place. I still get my *** kicked trying to stop random crimes from time to time hahaha. What can you do? Don't even get me started on webswinging. I became so dependent on gliding that my web swinging is absolutely atrocious. If I streamed, I'd have to show you guys how gracefully I crash into trees, lose momentum, and have no ability to turn.

Lol this gave me a good laugh, I'd love to see a stream of you attempting some of that. How did you feel about the story compared to Spider-Man (1)?

The first game was in service of Peter Parker, this game was in service of everyone else. I don't feel that the character Peter was short changed per se, but he definitely had to share the spotlight, which I didn't mind so much.

I thought it was well balanced between Peter and Miles, giving them their own arcs to overcome as well as MJ and Harry. It worked with the themes of mental health and addiction the story had, that we all struggle and shouldn't be afraid to ask for help or rely on a crutch to get by (this case being a symbiote) and lose who we are in the process.
