Why does it look like a cross between a Night at the Museum and Lightning Thief poster?

THQ revealed a few new additions and changes for the upcoming WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2011. On top of making some significant changes to their Road to WrestleMania mode, they also revealed a new WWE Universe Mode and planned DLC. In Road to Wrestlemania, fans can expect new storylines, a free-roam mode, the ability to select opponents, including on-the-fly fights and more choices as to how your character’s career plays out. The new WWE Universe Mode will offer new rivalries and alliances, more matches and added spontaneity in and out of the ring. There will also be additions made to the game’s already robust character creation tools, featuring more moves, designs and other modifications. On top of that, improvements to the Community Features will make sharing your characters even easier. If those additions weren’t enough, planned DLC should help prolong your enjoyment with additional characters, costumes and other bonuses throughout the year. For those who pick-up the game at launch, you will be rewarded with a free DLC pack that includes WWE Superstars Chris Masters and Rey Mysterio (in a Halloween-themed costume) and WWE Diva Kelly (who will also be wearing a special Halloween costume). Those who pick up the game used will be able to obtain the content for $10/800 MS points. This will not be the only DLC planned, as news on other content will be made known as the time approaches. www.gamefocus.ca/news/10635------------------------------------ Simple, Kane threw a hook in Mysterio's eye Silly me of course.

Former World Wrestling Entertainment star Gertrude "Luna" Vachon died Friday morning in Florida at age 48.
The cause of death has not been determined. She was found dead at her mother's home, Vachon's friends and family reportedly told the website Canadian Online Explorer (CANOE). She was living with her mother because her home had recently burned down.
"World Wrestling Entertainment has been made aware of the passing of Gertrude (Luna) Vachon. WWE extends its deepest condolences to the Vachon family," WWE said in a statement.
"Ms. Vachon was under contract with WWE at various times from 1993 through 2000, and performed under the name 'Luna' Vachon. She last performed for WWE in early 2000."
Vachon, born in 1962, is part of a legendary Canadian pro wrestling family. Her father Paul "Butcher" Vachon, uncle Maurice "Mad Dog" Vachon and aunt Vivian Vachon were all successful wrestlers.
Luna Vachon, nicknamed the "Daughter of Darkness," started her career in 1986 and was often known for her intimidating look — which often included shaving part of her head and wearing face paint — and her intense wrestling style. She retired from wrestling in 2007 and worked as a tow truck operator, according to CANOE.
Vachon had two sons and two granddaughters, according to the website.

Investigators probing the death of former WWE wrestler Gertrude "Luna" Vachon reportedly found crushed oxycodone pills in the Florida home where her body was found... TMZ says a police report filed by the Pasco County Sheriff's Office shows officers found a box containing the powerful opiate painkiller, multiple prescription bottles and loose pills, and two snorting straws near the residue of crushed pills. The report said Vachon’s mother, who found the wrestler's body on Friday, told police that Vachon suffered from several wrestling injuries and "often appeared medicated". An autopsy has been completed, but the official cause of death will not be known for a couple of weeks. Vachon died aged 48. She wrestled for WWE under the name "Luna" Vachon at various times between 1993 and 2000. www.tmz.com/2010/08/30/luna-vachone-wwe-dies-death-wrestler-pills-oxycodone/So sad... ------------------------------ WWE are currently planning to UNIFY every Title in the WWE. Current plans suggest there will be one Women's Championship, one WWE Championship, one Intercontinental Championship and one WWE Tag Team Championship. As we have seen already the single WWE Tag Team Championship are back and there is almost no doubt that WWE will unify the Diva and Women Championship at Night of Champions - no word on what title belt will be used as yet. Plans to Unify the WWE and World Championships look set to take place at WrestleMania 27 of course plans could change. If they unify the titles there is going to be a major drawback on one the shows. It is better to have a champion in each brand, if they unify the WWE and WHC one of the shows will be pointless to have. --------------------------- Smackdown Vs. The death investigation for the late WWE star, Gertrude “Luna” Vachon has come up with what looks like a serious drug abuse issue. Cops found crushed Oxycodone pills and a snorting straw in Luna’s kitchen down in Florida.
The autopsy has been completed and there should be a cause of death determined in the next couple of weeks.
But I think we all know what the cause of death is....

Former WWF Tag Team Champion Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart was arrested yesterday. He was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, one count of burglary of an occupied dwelling & one count of grand theft.

Several pill bottles in Neidhart's possession actually belonged to his neighbors who had recently reported them stolen.

Former WWE wrestler James Henry Neidhart, 55, (a/k/a Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart) made his first appearance in court this morning in Tampa, Florida to face two counts of possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute, two counts of trafficking illegal drugs, one count of burglary of an unoccupied dwelling, and one count of third degree grand theft for property stolen between $300 and $5,000. His bond was set at $138,500.
