Here's something interesting. WWE has placed their superstars in the Emotional Spectrum from the Green Lantern comics, making them Lanterns from all 9 Corps. Alot of them are right on. www.wwe.com/inside/wwefeaturepage/wwe-lanterns

CM Punk has been suspended after a "anti-WWE promo ": weblogs.baltimoresun.com/sports/wrestling/blog/2011/06/wwe_raw_cm_punk_suspended_for_shoot_promo.htmlAfter the show went off the air, it was announced on wwe.com that WWE chairman Vince McMahon has suspended Punk indefinitely for unprofessional conduct, and Punk’s bio was removed from the website. McMahon said the following: After interfering in the main event match between John Cena and R-Truth, Punk took a seat on the stage and said that he had a lot of things to get off his chest. Wearing a “Stone Cold” Steve Austin t-shirt (a nod to the “Twitter war” that Punk and Austin have engaged in), Punk went off about WWE not giving him the respect he deserves. He said once again that he was the “best wrestler in the world,” while Cena was the best at “kissing Vince McMahon’s ass.” Punk noted that “Dwayne” may be even better at kissing up to McMahon. In addition, Punk referred to Stephanie McMahon and Triple H as Vince’s “idiotic daughter” and “doofus son-in-law,” and called WWE executive vice president of talent relations John Laurinaitis a “douchebag” (which was bleeped). Punk also said that he was “a Paul Heyman guy” and that after he wins the WWE title from Cena at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view on July 17, he may defend the championship in New Japan Pro Wrestling or go back to Ring of Honor. At that point, he looked into the camera and gave a shout-out to his buddy Colt Cabana (who had a cup of coffee in WWE as Scotty Goldman a few years ago). Just as Punk was about to tell “a personal story about Vince McMahon” that began with a reference to WWE’s anti-bullying campaign, his microphone was turned off and the screen went black shortly thereafter. WWE and CM Punk have reached an agreement that Punk will fulfill his non-televised live event obligations for the remainder of his contract, through July 17. Furthermore, both sides have mutually agreed not to disparage one another. Punk's contract with WWE was not going to be renewed after July 17. Here's the promo: That was awesome.

It was an awesome promo, however next Monday's Raw has already been taped and Punk will still face Cena at MITB. I think it was half-work and half-shoot with that promo though.

I'm actually going to a live event in a couple of days so it will be interesting to see how that pans out because Punk is supposed to be appearing.

So here's what happened: Justin Roberts explained what happened and said that Punk would be competing at house shows after making a agreement with WWE.
After the announcement Punk's music hits and he explained to the crowd that he was only there for the money and then he said he wanted to tell us something about Vince and Steph McMahon and the microphone cut right on queue.
Punk went off his head throwing steel chairs around, kicking the steel stairs etc. Then Rey came out and they had a match. Rey of course won even though Punk was dominating for the entire match. After that Punk grabbed the mic again but of course it didn't work, Punk had another tantie and then left the ring.
However in a different state, this happened:

PUNK IS THE CHAMP! Cena got fired and Christian defeated Orton (Heel-turn looking more and more likely).

Now instead, McMahon got fired. --------------- After this I'm almost certain that CM Punk is still under contract with WWE:

Finally.... we have two champions that we can be proud of! Not a Straight-Edge wanker or a Vince McMahon ass-kisser. About time Alberto became champ, all thanks to Kevin Nash. I wonder if HHH and Steph are friends with Nash again and set up the whole scheme. Nice to see Steph and Edge as well. Alberto better not lose on Raw or I'll be furious.

As if Triple H isn’t busy enough Not only did WWE’s COO feature prominently throughout the first ever Raw SuperShow, combining Superstars from both Raw and SmackDown (so basically a brand merger), he also foud out he’ll be hanging up the suit and tie to square off against Punk in three weeks at Night of Champions. I'm getting a feeling that a heel turn is on the cards. Hey maybe he'll bring back the Spirit Squad? I suppose they would have to replace Nicky though.
