Ok, so I saw this movie recently, and I absolutely loved it. Mark Webb is an amazing director. The romance wasnt cheesy, or cliched, and yet you still felt it. It was something else.
Who else has seen it?

Go see it now. It's amazing
Now...in terms of action, I don't know how good he'll do. BUT, he's great at handling characters and emotions. He'll do great with the more...human side of the story. The rest, I cant really tell

I loved this movie too. I hated Summer's wide eyed, hurtful innocence. I hated Tom's stubborn clingyness, it was his fault he got hurt the way he did. But when I say that I hated it, I don't mean that it was bad. It was done very well actually, and the first time I saw it I knew that I wanted someone like Webb to do the Spider-man franchise (little did I know it would actually happen). I just mean that when stuff like happens in real life, it's the pits, and sometimes when we go to see a movie, it is too celebrate those feelings of despair. It's why we watch tragedies I guess. Anyway, great movie.

Anyway, great movie. I gotta agree with you 110% They both had a trait that was just enfuriating. Webb handled the characters beautifully. I want to see him handle the spider-man characters and give them as much depth as he did here. Oh, and I loved the end. Very clever move

Big bump, but I just watched it on E!. Great film. Having loved and lost myself, I totally related to it, even when Tom had his breakdown. I really have faith in Webb now with Spidey. He made great character development and emotions, and that's a big part of Spidey and it seems that's what we'll be getting.
