Anybody else read any of this or know of it? I've read (Yeah, I read, shocker I know ) a lot of the first part; Inferno. It's very hard to understand but it fascinates me and if you get the Divine Edition of Dante's Inferno (Only on PS3!) it comes with the Inferno part of the epic. That's what I've been reading.

I'm actually interested in reading it, it seems like it would be a good read

It's very interesting mythology. I liked it.

the mythology is the best part. how it combines bible characters with ancient greeks.
and if you catch the irony its actually is a comedy.
my favorites are the suicidal and the hypocrites. if you commit suicide you become a tree and forever get your limbs ripped off. (kill yourself to "escape the pain" only to live eternity in pain)
hypocrites go to hell of course and they are apart of the 8th circle. they are mostly souls of corrupt priests who mislead their followers. each sub circle of the 8th circle has a leader.
the leader of the hypocrites force them to walk. essentially leading them around. but there is no goal. so basically he is guilty of the same thing they are and just as much of a hypocrite as them.

It has a lot of poetic justice. That's one of the things I liked about it the most.
