I thought I'd make another version of lopli's thread Any favorite guitar solos/riffs, bass solos/lines, drum solos, lyrics, or even an entire album.

Thomstik Infeld strings have also become a favorite (They were the only place that would put together the gauges I need and they turned out to not be a compromise, totally amazing) and of course my favorite guitarists also include (and what band they were in where their work inspired me the most): John McGeoch (Siouxsie and the Banshees 79-82) Robin Guthrie (Cocteau Twins, Solo) Wes Montgomery (Solo) Johnny Marr (The Smiths, Solo) Funny enough, all the bassists from those bands are also favorites, with the addition of Charles Mingus of course.
