News round up from Wondercon: Josh Keaton will provide the voice of Amazing Spider-Man.
Christopher Daniel Barnes will be voicing Spider-Man 2099.
Edge of Time is single player.
This is NOT a sequel to Shattered Dimensions.
Lots of ideas that were started during Shattered Dimensions went into Edge of Time, though.
Edge of Time was started before Shattered Dimensions was finished.
It's a connected timeline. A scientist from 2099 goes back in time to destroy Amazing Spidey.
The story in Edge of Time is very character driven.
Amazing and 2099 don't get along very well in the beginning. There's a lot of conflict and disputes between them. Each thinks the other one is crazy/wrong/doesn't have the goods.
The screenshots and a trailer was showed, screenshots will be on Marvel.com next week, no word on a release of the trailer.

I still don't have sound, but this looks awesome! Anti-Venom should be fun to fight.

Here's some cool gameplay footage, featuring one of the time missions, with Amazing Spidey trying to save 2099 Spidey from gas.
Again, Amazing Spidey just doesn't look as good as he did in Shattered Dimensions standing still, but while in action, he looks fine.
What I'm wondering is how these time missions will work with 2099 Spidey. I mean, I get Amazing Spider-Man doing things to save Spider-Man 2099, but how can it work in reverse?
The guy mentioned they worked with Marvel again to create villains, which probably means we'll be getting new 2099 versions of characters.
I swear, the players in these demos are bad. Remember the demo footage last year of Spider-Man Noir getting shot all the time? Well here, the player keeps getting smacked around by Anti-Venom and his floor things. Seriously, just dash and swing around to avoid damage.
Anti-Venom should be a great character in the game though; anyone else notice from the trailer that Steven Blum is his voice? (and Cavey, they explain how he gets so big)

Just like with Shattered Dimensions, we're getting alternate costumes again for Edge of Time, and some have been revealed through pre-orders. From Gamestop, we will get the Identity Crisis/Slingers costumes of Prodigy, Hornet, Dusk, and Richochet (I assume they'll be DLC like the Cosmic costumes): And from Amazon, you can get Spidey's new FF suit. That should be interesting when fighting Anti-Venom since they look the same (Spidey even commented on that in ASM 658). It'll probably a basic cheat code like the Iron Spider suit. www.amazon.com/Spider-man-Edge-Time-Playstation-3/dp/B004VMXBEU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1310429234&sr=8-1I guess now we should discuss other costumes we could get. I'm hoping for the Big Time stealth suit, the new Spider-Armor, Ben Reilly's Spidey suit, and maybe Unlimited. I'm sure some of the suits from the last game will come back too, like the Black suit.

it'd be cool if they actually functioned like they say. i mean the stealth suit should become invisibile and the armor should give you more health.
