i just read a pretty stupid comment. basically the person thinks a full reboot would just solve everything and they would be making hot money… yeah how naive.
first of all that logic made ultimate spiderman such a huge success but 10 years later and now its just as complex as the current titles more so then ASM honestly. i will say though that since the end of ultimatum that it found its way back to accessibility.
the problem isn't really accessibility if someone wants to read then they will get a comic. simple as that and all they need is the right outlet.
dc is trying to make it simpler but the real strategy is the commercials and facebook ads. not to mention same day release.

My bad. Forgot.
But going from this, what's this gonna mean for the Justice League after the first origin arc? Hal's not a Lantern anymore, so will Sinestro fill his spot, or maybe Kyle, John, or Guy?

A sneak preview at Justice League #1 www.newsarama.com/php/multimedia/album.php?aid=43643From what I've heard now, superheroes first emerged 5 years ago in comic book time. That probably means alot of stories are gonna get retconned, but there's also the queestion of how this will affect Batman stories and characters in such a short amount of time. Well, Batman technically isn't a "super"hero and he has been considered an urban legend, which fits in with Hal saying "You're real?!" The point is this means Dick will still have been Robin, Nightwing, Batman, and Nightwing again, and Damian will still be around 10.

justice league must be a different time line from the rest. because we know nightwing and blackest night will still be in continuity.

First off, just want to say that that 4 1/2 months in, I'm enjoying the titles I'm getting from the new DC. It was a bold move to relaunch, and I think it worked out in the end. That being said, DC has announced that 6 titles will be cancelled in April and 6 new ones will begin in May: dcu.blog.dccomics.com/2012/01/12/dc-comics-in-2012-%e2%80%93-introducing-the-%e2%80%9csecond-wave%e2%80%9d-of-dc-comics-the-new-52/The titles being cancelled include Blackhawks, Men of War, Static Shock, OMAC, Hawk and Dove, and Mister Terrific. They will be replaced by: BATMAN INCORPORATED – Writer: Grant Morrison. Artist: Chris Burnham.
EARTH 2 – Writer: James Robinson. Artist: Nicola Scott.
WORLDS’ FINEST – Writer: Paul Levitz. Artists: George Perez and Kevin Maguire.
DIAL H – Writer: China Miéville. Artist: Mateus Santoluoco.
G.I. COMBAT – Writer: J.T. Krul. Artist: Ariel Olivetti.
THE RAVAGERS – Writer: Howard Mackie. Artist: Ian Churchill.Well of course, I'll get Batman Inc.

men of war was an interesting genre, but i guess didn't really leave a big impact. static, hawk, and mr. terrific just weren't very good from what i heard. just left stuff wanting or were just plain bad.
OMAC i read a few was just what the fuck fun, but after 2 issues it got tiring which is sad to say. silver age dc can only be enjoyable for so long.
i don't know any of those new series except batman which i will of course get as well.
------
general comic thing given how many titles are out there for different heroes its kind of funny that comics don't repeat themselves more often. i suppose that is what the editors job is but still its odd.
