Sort of random, but how come when I'm logged out my signature is a red x but when I'm logged in I can see it just fine? Can everyone else see it?

I don't care if Spider-Man dies as long as it's not Amazing Spider-Man.

When the Death of Spider-man arc finished, I tried to be optimistic about what we got. Yes, it should have had a bigger impact. I admit that I tried to be optimistic about that till the bitter end, but the fact remains that it wasn't. However, Bendis' Ultimate Fallout is done now, and it was supposed to contain the emotional punch that the DOSM story demanded but did not provide. I've only read Ultimate Fallout Issue 1, barely today actually, and....it was pretty good. If I could afford to buy the next 5 issues now, I would, but what I can say about issue 1 is that there was promise. There's a scene where Aunt May is about to enter this massive, beautiful gothic cathedral, and a huge crowd has gathered outside of the church. The city is mourning for Spider-man. A little girl asks Aunt May if she was Peter's "Mommy". The little girl has burn marks on her face. She tells Aunt May that when she was younger, Spider-man saved her from a burning building. The little girl was there with her mom to pay her respects and give thanks to the fallen hero.
That right there gave me chills. I almost had a tear fall out of my left eye, Tobey Maguire style. As usual, the issue ended much too quickly, but if the rest of Fallout is this well written, and the story feels complete, then I'd have to say that Bendis ended up writing one his greatest Spider-man arcs (if you combine DOSM and Ultimate Fallout into one super arc) ever.

meh. i'm still didn't buy this whole thing. the issue page numbers were too short for what is a big event. fallout was pretty good. better then the actual event, but the ending was as you said too quick. i could of bought the rest, but i simply didn't feel like it.
i'll pick up the new #1 and start there.

It was way too fast. I got the issue where he supposedly dies, and I read it in less than 10 minutes. I think it should of been about 50 pages, and ended epically it didn't really need to happen anyways. the idea that peter was either going to be great or die was like brought up and a few issues before the event. considering what comics have to work with building up to something should take months or even a year. this was just dropped on us and it left little impact.
