From board game to web game. I am simplifying that long and tedious game of war to one simple battle.
The mission is simple. Defeat the enemy. 2 players will go against each other with 21 soldiers to use. These soldiers function as your health bar.
The game will go through several rounds. After each round you will lose some soldiers and this is how it will all go down.
Both players will roll three 6 sided dice. Like so:
player 1 [dice=6][dice=6][dice=6]
player 2 [dice=6][dice=6][dice=6]
The highest roll of both sides will be compared against each other. This is your strong attack.
Winning a strong attack with the highest roll will result in the loser losing 2 soldiers.
but that is not it for the battle. Your second highest roll will also come into play. Those two will separately go against each other.
The loser of this weaker attack will lose 1 soldier.
if you tie one of those both lose 1 soldier.
I know its complicated, but that is why we have this example.
both players strong attack are 5 meaning they tie. they both lose 1 soldier.
in the weak attack front player 1 has a 5 while player 2 has a 4. player 2 loses 1 soldier for that.
in that first round. player 2 has lost a total 3 soldiers, while player 1 has lost 1. the score is 20 - 18
Now I said you start off with 3 dice, but we can't leave you off that easy. every 7 points lost you lose a die.
when you hit 14 you will go to 2 dice and when you hit 7 you go down to 1 dice.
first to lose all their soldiers loses the game and gives up their territory. [rand=7746766994241625689197246683761539697839412838229392312599811703]
