I'm with Cavey and 1923 lopli. I don't know who that Leslie person is, sucks he died, but I don't care at all. I mean, Cavey's right, every moment someone dies. If you get upset about it, you'd be depressed all the time. I understand you like Mr. Nielson, and I understand you're sad about his death, but getting mad at us because we don't care... Eh...

MySpace Confirms Sale Is Likely in the Near Future MySpace has confirmed that parent company News Corp. is looking for a way to unload its flailing social web property.
MySpace’s (MySpace) decline has been well chronicled, but the company hit its lowest point yet when it laid off 47% of its staff yesterday. While MySpace tried to claim that its new design shows promise, the reality is that there is no way to sugar-coat slashing half of your staff.
That’s not all, though. Today, MySpace CEO Mike Jones has confirmed what we’ve suspected all along: The company is looking for someone to buy the failing property before it’s too late.
“News Corp. is assessing a number of possibilities including a sale, a merger and a spinout [sic]. The process has just started,” MySpace’s Rosabel Tao recently told Bloomberg after a company-wide briefing from Jones.
At this point, there’s little doubt that News Corp. wants to unload the money-draining Internet (Internet) property. News Corp. could once justify its MySpace acquisition just from the hundreds of millions that Google (Google) paid it as part of its multi-year search deal.
However, while MySpace renewed its ad deal with Google last month, we hear that the terms were shifted significantly in Google’s favor. In the old deal, MySpace was guaranteed around $900 million in search revenue. In contrast, there is no guaranteed money at all in the new deal. MySpace’s revenue stream has been greatly reduced, and no redesign will bring Google’s money back.
A few weeks ago, we predicted that News Corp. would sell MySpace this year. We just didn’t expect that the media company was looking to offload its toxic Internet asset so soon. Oh, how the mighty have fallen ----------------------------------------------------------------------
My reaction?

Charlie Sheen was rushed to the hospital this morning, TMZ has learned ... and a source at the hospital told them, "It's serious."
TMZ have been told that Charlie was taken out of his home on a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance at 7 AM.
Two young women exited the house at the same time Charlie was taken out with a towel partially over his face.
Apparently he was in the middle of a marathon "party" last night and this morning with 5 women before something went so wrong, he ended up on a stretcher in an ambulance.
Charlie was transported to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in L.A. Tests were performed and doctors are waiting for results.
The 911 call was placed at 6:35 AM.
Sources say Charlie was having severe abdominal pains which triggered the 911 call. Stan Rosenfield, Charlie's publicist, told TMZ, Charlie was in the emergency room this morning -- sleeping.
TMZ has learned that Charlie's father, Martin Sheen, and his mom, Janet Templeton, are at the hospital. Charlie's ex-wife, Denise Richards, is also there.
Neighbours told TMZ, Charlie threw some sort of party last night. They heard women inside Charlie's house singing Red Hot Chili Peppers songs throughout the evening. The party went on -- loudly -- well into the wee hours.
Charlie's medical emergency will not immediately affect production ... "Two and a Half Men" is on hiatus this week. ---------------------- Meanwhile Nelson Mandela is in Hospital with a collapsed lung.
Reports state that that 92-year-old's former wife, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, left the hospital in tears.
Millions of South Africans are praying for the increasingly frail anti-apartheid hero, who went into hospital on Wednesday and remains under medical supervision.
