To begin this is not a long comic I'd compare it to a solid 30 min tv episode, but oh boy it makes the most of it.
Look simply put if you think Jengo was giving a piss pro showing and Bobba had a misplaced origin and had an ill-fated demise in episode VI then this is the fucking story you have been waiting for. Not only is Bobba Fett a complete badass, but so is Jengo Fett. Its a perfect tying of Jengo Fetts past work bleeding into Bobba's present. Fallowing a mysterious target and a power crazed crime lord.
The main purpose of this comic is simply to tell a great story, but more then that its out to prove the fans right. Bobba Fett is one of the coolest characters in Star Wars ever and not just an awesome costume. The first step of confirming is awesome is establishing its origin in youth and young Bobba is closely learning from his father. Second is to make fashion functional and giving the suit more then just the rocket launching on his back. Decked out with all the weapons a bounty hunter needs "Bobba Fett is never unarmed" including his fists.
The man the myth and the legend is only half the story and half the reason why this is such a phenomenal story. Mainly because it rounds out Bobba's character making him the anti hero he can be. The tying of past and present again was done perfectly and forms around the theme "how can you make a dead man proud" it's a cynical spin on the tale of every hero.
The final thing to say about this issue is the incredible art. The expressions and emotions captured are amazing on its own, but there are some breathtaking pages. You forget that its panel to panel because it flows so well. Every page is a work of art.
Considering its context of length and subject matter I can only rate it one way.
10/10
This rating is for Bobba Fett fans (most if not all Star Wars fans) Even if you are not a hardcore fan this is a badass and impressively touching story. Regardless of degree of fandom I consider it a perfect comic. It's not flawless, but it excels in almost every aspect a comic can fallow.
