ps3.ign.com/articles/122/1223840p1.htmlthe unashamed super smash bros clone has finally hit playstation. and why reject a fantastic model just to be different? you can read about the specific differences there are, but again why hide it and why complain about it when it'll probably be incredibly fun? like most fighting games we hope they have a great line up as well as balanced characters. So far they have only revealed 6 characters and 4 maps.

Greg Miller of IGN just explained and ranted about a core difference this game has to SSB and that being that you don't deal damage. Everyone who has played SSB know that you hit them and that percentage goes up on the character representing damage. Well ASBR works differently in that when you hit the opponent you gain XP of some sort and your goal is to level up your own power. Idk how many levels their are but you are trying to use your special moves and when you use them that give you KOs. You win the game with KOs.
That honestly changes a ton in reference to how you play the game. Greg Miller is still a huge SSB fan and beasted the other journalists so it's still not that different. If you are good at SSB you'll be good at ASBR.
This honestly worries me a bit. Sure it explains that this is not entirely a copy of SSB, but it also seems like you can win with one cheap move.

Someone at Sony accidently posted polls on Playstation's Facebook page that revealed BioShock's Big Daddy as a playable character and also confirmed reports of Uncharted's Nathan Drake being included as well:
