I wasn't real impressed with Son of Batman, and I have a bad feeling about this one. They're basically combining Court of Owls and the Born to Kill arc from Batman and Robin. I feel that's going to undercut the Court in some way and probably would have preferred they just straight-up adapted Born to Kill and used Nobody. If anything's going to be good about this though, it'll probably be Bruce and Damian's interaction.

I'd heard that Son of Batman wasn't as good as DC's other offering at the time (Think it was Flashpoint or something). The animation didn't look like it was on par either. This one looks slightly better in the animation department, but I see what you mean.

After watching the sneak peek on the Throne of Atlantis DVD, I'm still not sure how I feel about the Court being used. On one hand, it does kind of make sense that they'd want to recruit Damian. The Court recruits very young, and well, Damian could definitely see the appeal. But then they say that the Court and Talon fight crime more lethally compared to Batman. The Court's supposed to take out anyone they see as a threat to their grip on Gotham, good or bad.
Eh, I'm still banking on Bruce and Damian to save this, but maybe they'll surprise me on the Court aspect.
