This show follows the adventures of Clark, Lois, and Jimmy Olsen as they intern at the daily planet. This is a heavily shojo inspired show. I remember reading an article where the show runners talked about their vision for the show and their interpretation of each of the characters. Upon first read, it was as if the show runners were trying to troll prospective fans. If I could find the article I'd post it so you all could see what I mean. That said, I'm always open to ideas because in the end it all comes down to execution and... To be honest, I kind of like it. Like, a lot.
The animation is solid IMO, Jack Quaid kills it as Clark, and the stories are fun. It has a similar format as Spectacular Spider-Man, every episode stands on its own but contributes to the overall narrative. Anyone watching this show? Talk about it here.

There's so much to love about this show. The anime influence brings a lot of a great action and youthful energy. It modernizes the mythology while keeping its spirit. It's really fun to see a Superman still learning powers and origins but nonetheless having this optimism and drive to help people. The scenes where he's stopping something heavy from falling on people and him just smiling at them with that caring look really brings a warm feeling. Whatever Gunn does with Legacy, he should look to this show for inspiration as well. And of course, Lois is the show stealer. Her characterization reminds me of Luz from The Owl House (another animated show I highly recommend).
