i'm happy it's not dead yet... but animated? meh... i liked terminator salvation as I thought it was a good beginning to a trilogy that would focus on the war instead of the first trilogy that was just all about going back in time to stop things and was getting repetitive

It's not that I don't like the Terminator, but I just think it's run its course, and they're just beating it into the ground now.

salvation was not bad... it took terminator to the next level and actually was more focused on the war than time travel, I think it was very good

well maybe we would if there were live-action sequels instead... McG even planned on bringing back the t-1000

i don't care If i'm the only guy in the world who thinks this but salvation was awesome... judgement day happened and the war has begun, and that's what the movie was about, anton yelchin was a good kyle reese, sam worthington's characters was good, christian bale wasn't bad as john connor, and the last fight against the t-100 was nice

oh and another thing... the series could have never ended in 2

if judgement day never happened then there would have been no kyle reese to go back in time to fuck sarah connor, thus john connor would have never existed and would give no reason for skynet to travel back in time to kill him.

and if judgment day were stopped then there would also be no terminator in the first place to go back in time to kill sarah connor

and if there is no terminator then the humans would have never found the tecnology to create skynet in the first place

thus giving sarah connor back her crappy life

so if john connor still existed after "stopping" judgement day... then judgment day was in fact inevetable

kyle is younger than john, because he went back i time to have sex with sarah and have the kid, but then died

so technically kyle died in the past, so in reality john could actually send his own father back to concieve himself, causing an interlooped time line. Whoooah. My head is spinning

Personally I thought Salvation was good, so I'd rather see a 5th movie (by Cameron? F*** the blue smurf kitties Cameron, go back to what made you a big name!)

Here's what Terminator 5 should be:
The creation of T-1000
An army of Arnies attacking the reckage of LA
Arnold actually coming back, playing Sergeant Candy[without the accent this time]
John sending back Kyle
Some interquel stuff, like some flashbacks of Sarah Connor from when she had lukemia[get Lynda Hamilton to come back]
Hints at the T-X

Then the 6th could be the T-850 killing John, and the movie could be about her sending it back, and it could kind of be about Skynet themselves, like a good guy T-800 helping out the Resistance[another excuse to get Arny]. Then you could end it with 7. Connor is an old man, and the war finally ends
