Since this relates to a number of shows forthcoming from Marvel Animation, I thought I would make its own thread for this news: They ARE listening!

Some of the main points:
* Marvel is listening to the fans hate for Ultimate Spider-Man and realize they screwed up, but will still try to praise it for marketing purposes (even going so far as to have plants at comic con panels).
*Ultimate Spider-Man was renewed for a second season before all the hate and ratings drop. They will possibly make it better with more episodes written by Bendis and Dini. This change could bring fans around and get it back for a third season, or it will conclude and a new show will be made in line with the new movies.
*Unlike Ultimate Spider-Man, Hulk and the Agents of SMASH won't be renewed until they see how the ratings do for the first season. It will follow the same format of being kid friendly, no real plot, and pure action.
*Avengers Assemble will no longer take place in the same universe as Ultimate Spider-Man and Hulk/SMASH and will be much more serious so kids and adults can enjoy it.
*Marvel's pumping more money into Avengers Assemble more than the other shows so we can expect great animation quality.
*Along with Falcon, Black Panther, Ant-Man, and Ms. Marvel may also appear on the show.
*A new X-Men series is in development and possibly set in the same universe as Avengers Assemble, even hinting at an AvX type crossover.
Now my thoughts on all this. I have a little renewed hope.
*I'm glad they will try to make Ultimate Spider-Man better, but I feel the damage is done already. May as well just cut their losses and make a new series set with Avengers and X-Men, and give it the same feel as the Spectacular show and Amazing movie.
*Got a strong feeling Hulk won't make it another season based on all this, especially since fans know how it will be.
*I have new hope for Avengers Assemble, but I don't get why they couldn't have just renewed EMH and use the movie cast for the third season. Whatever though, at least it'll be more serious.
*I've been wanting a new X-Men series but didn't want to see how they would fuck it up based on what has happened with Spidey and Hulk. But it seems like Marvel's getting their head in the game now.
What do you guys think of all this?
