Listening to the 13 minute segment that was released from their El Capitan presentation, Kevin Feige said something that made me very happy. That is, Ragnorok is going to do for Thor what Winter Soldier did for Captain America. I love this, because I was afraid they were going to keep going for flash and bang with no substance yet again. They can do that and still make money afterall, but with the success of Winter Soldier being largely in part for the movie's quality (compare their numbers with Thor 2) I think they've stepped up their game.
EDIT: I will say that I am a little bummed. They're going apocalyptic now, so there's probably no chance in hell for a fun Viking adventure that really, (I mean really) explores the wonder of the 9 realms any time soon.

So this is exciting: rumor has it that Hulk will show up again in Thor: Ragnarok. www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/MintyNewsAndReviews/news/?a=125899I thought the "Hope and Crosby" reference was interesting. I'd have to watch a Hope and Crosby movie to better understand what the reference means though. Anyway, Thor Ragnarok is sounding more and more interesting. Here's hoping that Marvel allows the movie to be what it can be. Hiring Taika Waititi sounds like they're doing more of the same with Thor: playing it safe.

So, I'm feeling a little less excited now. Ragnarok is being described as some type of super powered, buddy cop adventure or some s---. What happened to this movie being Thor's Winter Soldier? In my opinion, Chris Hemsworth has the goods. The first Thor was just fine, and it wasn't just Tom Hiddleston either. Initially I was excited to see Hulk in Asgard because I figured that things had gotten so bad that Thor needed some help. That may still be the case, but again, hiring Taika to lighten things up, and the only thing anyone is saying is that they're going to make it funny? Why do they need to do that for the MCU's version of the Apocalypse? Feeling frustrated right now, and pre-production barely started, lol.

Me too. I think I'm most excited for Goldblum as Grandmaster.

screenrant.com/thor-ragnarok-ruffalo-mocap-suit/I think it's great this movie is generating a lot of excitement. I still have some concerns, but at the moment I'm more pumped for this than Guardians' 2. Crazy, right? Oddly enough, it's Ruffalo's Hulk that has me so excited, followed closely by Feige's claim that this will be to the Thor movies what Winter Soldier was for Cap. Clearly, he didn't mean in tone, so I'll guess we'll have to wait and see exactly what he means. A Winter Soldier comparison does raise the expectations though. On Hulk though, Ruffalo has commented in recent interviews that he's excited to see the Hulk, Hulk out. Definitely curious to see an even more powerful Hulk than what we've already seen, and hopefully, Thor's physical strength gets a boost too. I don't care if it's inconsistent with his power levels in prior films, he needs to be stronger dammit! No Mjolnir? No problem!

Avengers' Quinjet on the set of Thor: Ragnarok? screenrant.com/thor-3-ragnarok-set-images-quinjet/For me, this is exciting. One of the biggest questions we have is, "how does Banner get to Asgard?" I think most of us assumed he'd be transported through the rainbow bridge. Maybe that's still what happens,... or maybe it isn't! What if Stark equipped the jet for space travel? What if we actually get to see some cool Gravity-esque s--- with Banner in space? Anyone remember when I was fangirling out over this little fan fiction concept I'd come up with involving Hulk going into space by himself to deal with an otherworldly threat? Of course it's too early to tell and there's too few details. As always, it's just fun to speculate. XD

I think that would be cool! Adding Hulk to the movie is a nice touch. I wonder if him and Thor will fight again like they did in the first Avengers?

So, spoilers ahead. I'll use the spoiler tags, but there will also a spoiler for doc strange in there as well... So, just beware. Anyway, I read over at Screenrant that Dr.Strange is supposed to appear in Thor Ragnarok. I know that one of Dr.Strange's end credit scenes involves Thor and Loki going to see Strange on Bleecker street. However, I had no idea that Strange would be showing up in Ragnarok. If it's true, that is. What do you all think?

I seriously want a trailer for this movie already. Even just a teaser with no movie footage, just more silly stuff like that mockumentary would be nice.

I just wanna find out what Hulk's role will be. I'm really stoked to see him and Thor duke it out or something. I'm also curious to see if Marvel will ever attempt to tackle a "smart Hulk" where he's Hulk, but with Banner's brain

So, I'm currently most excited for Thor Ragnarok*. That said, there's been rumors circulating that Thor will potentially lose Mjolnir at some point during Ragnarok due to becoming unworthy. screenrant.com/avengers-infinity-war-thor-jarbjorn-mjolnir-unworthy/If that's the case, I gotta say, it takes my excitement level down a hair. Reason being, we've seen this before. I think Thor went through a great arc in the first movie. Rushed as it might have been, I think it played well, and doesn't need to be revisited. Why would Thor become unworthy again? He seems like he's doing the best he can to be a selfless guardian of Midguard and the 9 realms. What actions or character traits will make him unworthy? Do we even want to see this, or do we just want to see Thor fight himself out of a crappy situation by being a badass? The prospect of getting a new weapon in place of Mjolnir is exciting, or maybe having Mjolnir forged into something even more powerful. I'm just saying that from a character standpoint I want to see Thor grow, not revisit old story lines. To end this on a positive note, here are the things that I'm excited for in this film: 1) The cast (new and returning): Karl Urban, Jeff Goldblum, Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Anthony Hopkins, Benedict Cumberbatch, Idris Alba, Tom Hiddleston... 2) The director: He's bringing a bizarre sense of humor to the project. I love being completely unaware of what to expect, and for now that's where I'm at. Also, he says his favorite character from the MCU is Thor from his movie. I want to see how that translates, because Thor's character needs a little more love than he has been given. 3) More Space S###.
