Turns out, a newborn baby girl in Mexico who was declared dead at the hospital, wasn't so dead after all. “Hidalgo state Attorney General Jose Rodriguez says the parents heard a strange noise coming from the tiny casket. Opening it up, they found her crying and very much alive.” Of course, the doctor who pronounced her dead is being investigated for negligence. Since this was close to being one of the worst things imaginable, it's a good thing she's so young she won't have lingering trauma over this. In other news, Harry Potter has dumped Ginny Weasley for Producer David Heyman's stepdaughter and Hermione has a new hair cut. www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=346737&id=140216402663925&ref=album

US woman Melodi Dushane was so upset she couldn't get chicken nuggets at a McDonald's in Toledo, Ohio - because the restaurant was serving breakfast - that she attacked the staff. Surveillance video, released by police, shows Dushane, 25, get out of her car and throwing a tantrum. She then appears to clobber the employees - reaching through the window, hitting one employee and then another. Seconds later she smashes the drive-through window with a bottle before fleeing. Dushane was sentenced to 60 days in jail and ordered to pay for the broken window. I reckon she was trying to order Meth nuggets and the waitress got confused. ------------------- In other news the countdown to the Australian federal election has began. The opposition Liberal/National Coalition will be led by the Opposition Leader Tony Abbott (also known as Iron-man and Action-man). He will be the main challenger to the Australian Labor Party led by Prime Minister Julia Gillard: She became Austraila's first female and Ranga Prime Minster a month ago after former Prime Minster Kevin Rudd was ousted by his own party. The election will be held on Saturday the 21th of August 2010 and is going to be a close match.

That's funny! And I think it's funny cause it amused me. Not cause someone told me to laugh, not cause it's a popular video, not because it's not an unpopular video, and NO i hadn't seen it before and said it was bad[the hypcorite thing]. I guess I'm gonna have to say this everytime I post somethginb, cause it seems everyone believes I have to have some lame ass reason to like something, as if I have no individuality.... *points at caveboy*

Michael Douglas is to undergo eight weeks of chemotherapy and radiation after a tumor was discovered in his throat, People Magazine reported Monday.
A spokesperson for the actor, 65, told the celebrity magazine that doctors expect him to make a full recovery.
"I am very optimistic," Douglas said in a statement.
Douglas won an Oscar for his role in Oliver Stone’s “Wall Street” in 1987, and returned to play lead character Gordon Gekko in Stone’s sequel “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps,” due out Sept. 24.
And the hits keep coming for Mel Gibson.
Gibson, crashed his Maserati last night in Malibu. The California Highway Patrol rushed to the scene after Gibson crashed his car into a hillside shortly after 8:30 last night. He was not hurt in the crash. And before you rush to conclusions... Alcohol was not suspected to be an influence in the crash.
Gibson has come under serious scrutiny in the past few months after allegations of domestic abuse surfaced concerning his ex Oksana Grigorieva. Tapes have also been released that contain recordings of Gibson's profanity-laced tirades toward Grigorieva.

Harry Potter Condoms: Yes, They're Real. Yes, Warner Bros. Is Suing.
It's the boy wizard as you've never seen him before. He has the trademark round spectacles and the regulation magic wand. But his tongue is extended in a lascivious manner and his thoughts are purely carnal. For good measure, he is in the guise of a pink, pimpled prophylactic.
Unsurprisingly, not everyone is amused. Warner Bros this week sued the Swiss manufacturer of the "Harry Popper" condoms for copyright infringement. "The image of my client is in danger," a studio lawyer complained to the Swiss newspaper Bote. "This is clearly a reference to the film and fictional character of Harry Potter. Everyone who sees the condoms automatically thinks of Harry Potter." The Harry Popper condoms have reportedly been on sale since 2006.
The Harry Potter brand is worth an estimated £15bn and lawyers for both Warner Bros and author JK Rowling have earned a reputation for protecting their product. For the time being, condom manufacturers Magic X are standing firm. "Our product has nothing to do with Harry Potter," claimed a spokesperson for the company. While A lawyer for Warner Bros. tells Swiss newspaper Bote, "The image of my client is in danger." ---------------------------------- Today is the 2010 Australian Federal Election.
Australian's can cast their vote in today's knife-edge election. More than 14 million people are enroled to vote at more than 7 thousand polling stations across the country.
Nearly 12 hundred candidates are vying for 150 seats in the House of Representatives and 40 vacancies in the Senate.
Phil Diak from the Australian Electoral Commission says the votes will be counted when the polls close at 6pm.
The latest News Poll has Labor, led by Prime Minster Julia Gillard, ahead by 2% over the Liberal/National Coalition led by Opposition Leader Tony Abbott.

It could take more than a week for Australia to form a new federal government after a cliffhanger election.
Labor Party Prime Minister Julia Gillard says she will remain caretaker leader during the "anxious days ahead" as vote-counting continues.
Norman Abjorensen, an Australian National University political scientist, said the most likely outcome is a minority government led by the Liberals and supported by independents.
With 75 percent of the votes counted Sunday, Labor national secretary Karl Bitar conceded that neither main party would win more than 75 seats.
The Australian Electoral Commission said Sunday that center-left Labor and the conservative Liberal Party-led coalition each have 71 seats, meaning neither can achieve the necessary 76 seats for a majority.
Labor has recieve a major backlash after former Prime Minster Kevin Rudd was ousted 2 months ago.
