Well, I'll just say it. Sony wins. FATALITY.

PS4 certainly sounds like the logical choice indeed. The price is really good

The sad thing is, this is going about as poorly as it could have went for Microsoft. After reading the articles posted here on this site, one becomes aware of the two major problems with XBox One: 1) The console is no friend to the used game market 2) Checking in once every 24 hours.
It's the second point that has kept me thinking. Obviously, it takes some degree of choice away from the consumer as to how much s/he is actually plugged in. Even if checking in is easy, it's as though you're not allowed to play at your own leisure if you want to get everything out of your game.
I will say that after some clarification, the used game issue isn't as bad as I initially thought. Not good, but not what it was blown up to be. Right now, it's unclear as to how much you're missing by electing not to check-in for a few days. And maybe that's the thing. If it really isn't that big of a deal, Microsoft has done a poor job of detailing why.

I agree that they messed up on many regards, but I feel the hate is getting a bit blown out of proportion.

totally, i'm waiting for the shoe to drop either immediately at release or a year after the release, but it will drop because Xbox fanboys are just having an argument with their girlfriend and they'll be back together soon.
the hyperbole is just annoying me because nobody will shut up about it on the internet or in real life. Don't get me wrong I'm not getting X1, but that's just because I'm a PS kind of guy, always have been and will get the PS4 no question. Xbox users just found a reason not to get their preferred system, but its still their preferred system. Will the PS controller magically become better than Xbox? will PSN rival XBL? I just don't see people converting like they have in previous generations.
You think those kids who love COD and Xbox 360 care about trading in games? They don't even buy their own games. All they will see is Xbox and COD and tell their mommy's and daddy's to go buy them an X1.
Halo 4 sold nearly 9 million unites. Will those 9 million people not get the system for Halo 5? I don't think Halo 5 will see a drop in sales and I don't think X1 will have a bad release.

For all intents and purposes, they're just living a momentary marketing nightmare. They'll recover as quick as people will forgive... And I guarantee that people will forgive them pretty damn soon.
