Isn't there supposed to be a panel for this sometime today? In my head I thought TASM's panel was today and USM's was yesterday, but I guess I was wrong.

that is… odd. sounds funny, but coming off of the quality of TSSM its hard to really enjoy it. why not have a deadpool cartoon?

I read over at Marvel that they're story boarding this like a live action show. The process that they use to map each episode, that is. Honestly, I don't know what to think. I don't like the idea of Spidey breaking the fourth wall. Once in awhile is fine (like on The Fresh Prince of Bel Air) but not habitually. I like that Clark Gregg will be bringing his Agent Coulson to Spider-man's world. He's strictly a creation of MCU at this point. I also like that there will be cross overs. If we never see Spider-man in an MCU film during their golden age of cinema (okay, so it's just me calling it their cinematic golden age.... but it might catch) then we can at least get this.
This show has what it takes to be just as good as TSSM and better (it's the first full blown Marvel produced Spidey show), the question is, will the creators' desire to make this show pop visually and stylistically, cloud the overall quality of the show? It just sounds... weird. And what of the animation? Is it smooth, fast, and coherent? Or is it kinda simple like The Avengers? For what it was worth, TSSM had simple character designs who moved with excellent fluidity and speed. I'll miss it.

I see some Immonen influence in Venom and Mary Jane's illustrations. In spite of the weird news we got from Comic Con, this show still holds a lot of promise.
