I dunno about you, but this video kills my hopes. It looks cheesy and generic. (Especially the second clip.)

I dunno. It could be like the Brave and the Bold. I want the show to be good, but I don't think it will live up to the standards Spectacular set. I'm also not sure about Drake Bell as Spidey.

A buddy of mine went to the panel at SDCC. She thought she'd hate sitting through the Marvel stuff b/c she's a big DC girl, but she said the Spidey show looked awesome. So far as I can see, the clips haven't wowed me (I couldn't open your link socool b/c my browser has been acting funny lately...) but I felt the same way about Spectacular until I saw a few episodes.
I've seen a few clips already, but I can't open the one you posted socool. Stupid browser.

Iron-Fist concept art: www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/rorschachsrants/news/?a=55477"The 'Ultimate Spider-Man' version Iron Fist is definitely a Danny, and not a Daniel, Rand. Unlike some other super heroes on his team, he isn't given to big mouthy boasts or wild displays of teenage angst. Danny embraces a go-with-the-flow attitude. Stepping out from the confines of K'un L'un into the madhouse of New York, Danny tends to look at everything with a wide-eyed sense of the new that offers a unique perspective vs. his more jaded fellow trainees. But don't be fooled, beneath that kick-back demeanor is the most deadly kick in the world...and, of course, an iron fist."

I kind of agree. ^^ I read your comment first, had my expectations of the scene taken down a notch, and then was okay with it.
All this fourth wall stuff doesn't feel like Spidey humor to me though. I'm not scared for the show though, I'm sure it'll be alright.

I'm not scared for the show though, I'm sure it'll be alright. it wasn't the 4th wall stuff. that actually put some life into the scene. the rest of it was bland bland bland. the art is as a still is probably better then SSM, but as an animation its terrible. the scenery is boring and lacked any sense of dynamics.

I think I get what the show is going for now... and while it works in its own way, it's not getting me pumped up.
The fourth wall stuff isn't bad really, the Spidey humor is kind of injected in there. The animation looks pretty cool at some points, but it's not as hyperactive as I'd like it to be. Instead, it goes for this "let's do an aside and watch things from a different angle" stuff. But I want to see Spidey unleash all his acrobatic insanity, so if this is the substitute for that then BOOO. If not, then, okay.
The spider strength was cool though. Especially in the second video where he punched that sticky gun guy.
Last is Drake Bell. Love him, hate him? He's OK here... Maybe it's the material that has me feeling so apathetic towards his USM work. Bell'd probably be a good Spidey voice in a USM video game. I prefer Neil Patrick Harris or Josh Keaton doing Spidey's voice though. Keaton would've been better for this show than Bell in my [not so] humble opinion, even if the show is going for something totally different than TSSM.
