Being in the same universe as Ultimate Spider-Man doesn't give me much hope at the moment. And I surely hope making a show with the movie line-up goes better than the Avengers Assemble tie-in comic series.

Things have certainly heated-up with today's episode. The Avengers have disassembled in a way, leaving only Hulk, Hawkeye, Wasp, and Skrull-Cap. Black Panther is apparently a Skrull as well, planning a Wakandan invasion somewhere. And it appears that Mockingbird will fill the role of Veranke the Skrull Queen for the invasion. This is Marvel's best show at the moment and a good rival for DC's Young Justice. I would again ask why they would cancel it, but I guess good Marvel shows only last at least two seasons (poor Spectacular Spider-Man and Wolverine and the X-Men ).

i'd like to think spectacular spider-man is there best effort. this show has some wonky characterization. very light too. i think the potential of the skulls is wasted by just laying it all out on the table. it just removes tension.

So, apparently Keaton's voicework for Avengers EMH has been dubbed over by Drake Bell. Seriously Marvel, what the f###? Slap in the face right there. I try not to be a conspiracy theorist when it comes to cartoon shows, but I don't know what else to say at this point. Really now, who the hell prefers Bell's voice work over Keaton's anyway?

that is really really stupid. the one role we want Keaton to voice and he's shut out

I had my suspicions when I watched "Along Came a Spider" that something was a miss, it certainly didn't sound like the Josh Keaton I remember.
Interesting fact: Jeph Loeb's first episode as Executive Vice President, Head of Television under Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes was: "Along Came a Spider".

Slowly but surely, I am beginning to understand why people dislike the man so much these days. I've really enjoyed his work in comics too.

yeah same here even his controversial work on Hulk had a lot of good stuff to it. Red Hulk is arguably more interesting then Hulk right now.

Bullshit! Keaton FTW. For shame Loeb. For shame.

So I'm caught up on the episodes currently online, including the Spidey episode. Yeah, they definitely should have kept Keaton. I just can't take Drake Bell's Spidey seriously because of the idiotic way they portray him on Ultimate. While the Secret Invasion storyline's over, I think we still got potential for good stories going til the end; Surtur, Ultron, Rulk and Winter Soldier, etc.

wait how did you watch episodes that are not out yet? Some have already aired outside the US, including Austraila, and have made it online. Here's the link here: www.watchcartoononline.com/anime/the-avengers-earths-mightiest-heroesSo far, they have episode 9-14 from season two uploaded, and I believe there will be at least 4 more episode to come up soon. EDIT: I was in the middle of the message when I had to go AFK, so I was not aware of Spidey's above message when I posted. Point's the same: episodes aired early.
