i still think the show can be better, but knowing full well this new one will suck major ass makes it all rather disappointing.

One of the new episodes coming up is called "New Avengers", and will have Spider-Man, Thing, Iron Fist, Wolverine, Luke Cage, and War Machine gather to stop Kang's invasion while the other Avengers are indisposed.

The final episode will air in Austraila on June 28 and will feature (I'm assuming all of) the Avengers against Galactus and his heralds.

Well the final episodes are all online. Not a bad finale. Too bad it's over, but aside from not finishing the Surtur storyline, it ended with a bang. It's shame though, there's so many more things they could have done and characters to use if there was a third season.
And for some reason, Drake Bell's Spidey didn't bother me as much in the other two episodes he appeared in.

I don't know. It kind of sounded to me like Loeb is trying to say that they knew EMH was a good series and that fans of that should check out the new show. I think I'd need to see the first episode to tell if it's a continuation or not but I'm not betting on it; after all it was supposed to be in the same continuity as Ultimate Spider-Man at one point.

In "Marvel's Avengers Assemble," an animated series parallel to the record-breaking blockbuster movie "Marvel's The Avengers," Iron Man leads the team of mightiest heroes – Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow and newcomer Falcon – who combine their powers to battle threats no single hero could overcome. When the Avengers assemble, evil doesn't stand a chance. The voice cast includes: Adrian Pasdar ("Heroes") as Iron Man, Fred Tatasciore ("Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness") reprising his role as Hulk, Roger Craig Smith ("Wreck-It Ralph") as Captain America, Travis Willingham ("Shelf Life") as Thor, Troy Baker ("Ultimate Spider-Man") as Hawkeye, Laura Bailey ("The Super Hero Squad Show") as Black Widow and Bumper Robinson ("The Game") as Falcon. Joe Casey, Joe Kelly, Duncan Rouleau and Steven T. Seagle of Man of Action Studios ("Ben 10," "Generator Rex") will serve as executive producers. www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/BritishAvengers/news/?a=68707#Go2CFoR445EHUydW.99

I finally started season two of EMH. I have to say that thus far, I'm enjoying this season more. The animation seems a tad better, which while still not great (I prefer both USM and TSSM animation to it) is a little more inspired. The show isn't great, but the scope of it is pretty impressive, and I am enjoying that.

The Ant Man episode is probably the best written episode I've seen thus far to come from the series. The follow up, Michael Korvac, is also really cool. Rocket's guns were great.

Finally saw "Along Came a Spider". I found it very refreshing compared to USM. It turns out that Bell is actually a capable Spider-man voice actor, able to portray a competent Spider-man. I should have known this, but considering his praise of USM and his prior work with Disney, I judged him and guessed wrong. Back to the episode though, I found it a nice tribute to the character, displaying his strength, ability as a fighter, quipping ability, etc. At least the live action adaptation is looking to be beast.

I don't know. I think USM has sullied Drake as Spider-Man for me; I just can't take him seriously in the role like Keaton, Romano, NPH, or Barnes. I mean I agree they used Spidey pretty well in that episode, along with the New Avengers and Galactus episodes; it just left me wishing they left Keaton's voice though. If it sounds like I'm just hating, maybe I am, but he just sounds more like Drake Bell playing Spider-Man than actually like Spider-Man.

I don't think you're being a hater, I mean, earlier on this page you mentioned Bell's work being a bit better in the finale. It's just that I watched the final 2/3s of season one USM very quickly, and then I took a break from the show to catch up on Avengers. By the time "Along Came a Spider" came around, I'd had a pretty good amount of time away from USM, so my patience for Bell's Spidey had built up again. I still haven't started season 2 USM, and I'm definitely in no rush.
