Hey Dylan! Good to see you man. Life is good around these parts. I'm exhausted tho, this baby is living up to the hype regarding sleeping schedules (or lack thereof).
On a completely unrelated note, can we just take a moment to acknowledge how ridiculous Sony's acronym is for their movie verse. I mean seriously, Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters is literally SPUMC. That's way too close for comfort. smh
Just bringing this up because I saw that they're developing a movie called Dusk focusing on Cassie St. Commons.

Yeah, they really didn't think that name through. But a Dusk movie could be interesting; I can see it be similar to The Crow.

Two points to this post: *I gave Batwoman a shot with the new lead, and I'm surprised how well they handled the situation storywise. They won me over so I'm still watching. *I'm finally rewatching the 90's Spidey toon on Disney+. Just finished season one and I've been reminded of how infuriatingly stupid characters were when it came to the Chameleon. I was like 3 or 4 when that episode first came out, and even I knew to just look at the freaking belt. But on this rewatch, I just realized how even stupider the SHIELD agents were when they didn't even realize Chameleon posing as Fury had the patch on the wrong eye. Come on guys, I know you probably don't want to stare, but you should know which eye your boss still has.

I'm continuing to work my way through the 90s shows... very slowly. Been meaning to get back to Spidey, but since I've already seen the series I'm trying to check out the others. This makes me want to sprinkle it in though, no doubt. Regarding those other 90s shows... Fantastic Four is another "gem". There's an episode called "Mole Man" where Johnny performs an original rap song called "flame on". ![O_o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/browraise.png) It's hard to describe in words just how bad it is. The tonal shift of the episode, Johnny's elastic leg dancing, the obvious change of voice actors, the horrible syncing between the lyrics and Johnny's mouth animation, the use of rap for Johnny storm when he's the most beach boy frat house superhero you can imagine on this show. My wife was telling me she read that they hadn't decided what genre of music the song would be and had to animate before the song was even chosen. You just have to see it: "This is for you Melinda, I hope you like it." *lolllll* Although I have to admit, the beat is nice and the rapping itself is easy listening, haha.

This is just rumored, so I'll put it here until (and if) confirmation comes. www.comicbookmovie.com/x-men/wolverine/wolverine-anthology-series-rumored-to-be-in-early-development-for-disney-a183989#gs.yse0ftI hope this is true, because if not this, I was thinking "Little Big Man" on steroids, or maybe Cloud Atlas, but without the reincarnation element. Or maybe Forest Gump, but not a satire. Basically, I want to see the story of an immortal who lives through several time periods and goes on several seemingly disjointed, but significantly connected adventures that make one very well lived life. This would be very hard to pull off, and few movies have done it well. Of those that I listed, Little Big Man came out over 50 years ago (1970), whereas Forest Gump is 27 years old (1994), and Cloud Atlas (2012) came out with much fanfare but received mixed critical and fan reception. I'm there are other movies that fit my description, but my point is that it's difficult to stick the landing with these types of stories. While anthologies are usually a collection of separate stories, they can still be connected. I believe this type of series would give story tellers the most freedom to tell the best Wolverine stories in a long form format without having to commit too long to a specific time period. If his time in Japan needs more time, they can give that season longer episodes. If his time in the Civil War needs to be told like Gettysburg or a PBS drama, then that season can play out that way. I hope this rumor is true.

If I had to guess it'll probably be like if you took the flashback montage from the start of X-Men Origins and stretched it out into a whole season. Makes me wonder who the other characters will be. I'd say they'll use him to help set up X-Men just like Wandavision sets up Dr Strange 2 and Falcon/Winter Soldier sets up Thunderbolts and Captain America 4.

Story time: Two weeks ago I made a bet with my wife that the Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer would drop within "the next two weeks". We've been following movies for so long, we recognize patterns. I could smell a shift in the air and I knew something would be coming soon. Those two weeks expired today, and I lost, lol.
It's not so bad though. I mean, I get to buy a pretty lady some nice things. I still think the trailer is around the corner, and it'd be hilarious if it drops tomorrow, just 1 day after my time expired. Within that two weeks the Eternals trailer finally dropped though, which I also called (not on here, but in discussion with my wife) but did not bet on.

I really hope they don't make us wait until August, but I could see how that would tie in though.

Yesterday I lost my voice screaming and cheering for all of our outgoing 8th graders who have promoted to high school. Today, I decided to make myself a hot toddy. Feeling like Michael Caine over here.

Yo, so I think I stumbled upon Je1ght8 over on comicbookmovie.com. It's spelled a little differently than what I remember, but whoever is controlling the account is as surly as ever. I feel like I just ran into a ghost or something O _ O !!!
I actually created an account over there just to ask 'em. We'll see what they say.
