Those graphics are scary good. You can see textures, and it's a so-so quality video too. Damn. Webswinging hasn't looked this fun in a long time. It's hard to get pumped for Spidey movie games these days. But as a simple tease, this impresses. I'm not sure what to think about this though: "Amazing Spider-Man is being made by Beenox, the studio behind the two most recent Spider-Man games, but this new game been in development by a dedicated team who have been working on it for over a year, according to Gerard Lehinay, the studio's creative director." They said something similar to this about Edge of Time to reassure those who thought the game had been rushed. Doesn't sound like you guys are too thrilled with that game. They said that Edge of Time was being developed towards the end of the development cycle of Shattered Dimensions. It had a little over a year of development when it released. This game ALREADY has over a year of development time.

YEAH! This is looking good so far. It'll be cool to have free roam again, and the limited webbing should make things interesting.
And yeah, that's totally gotta be a Spider-Slayer; which may mean Smythe is in the game.

One other thing I forgot. -Limited webbing Because the film has web-shooters, Spidey will have to refill his webbing after using a lot. Makes it sound like swinging around will be costly. Is this true? Because if not, that's really a dumb assumption in the video game industry. Why? Well, if you played "Ultimate Spider-Man", that's why. One of the first cutscenes shows Peter running home to get the webshooters so he can fight The Shocker; and the entire game was unlimited webbing

Yeah,... I got used to the unlimited webbing. Taking it away just sounds,... annoying.

It depends on how they deal with it. I think it could become a nice strategic aspect of the game; you'd have to know when to use web and when not to. If the city and level designs are built accordingly, I think limited webbing would be a nice aspect.
But you guys might be right; it might end up being annoying if the game doesn't deal with them properly.

I was joking with the swinging being costly. I doubt that a game focused around the swinging will make it so inefficient to actually swing. I'm sure that only certain things will deplete your fluid and if everything containing webs does, then I'm pretty sure it won't go down very fast at all.

Two Twitter updates by One of the Swords:
-Beenox took heavy inspiration from Spider-Man 2 the game saying "It deeply influenced us when it came out and we really want to reinvent what that game meant for us."
-Beenox created a brand new engine to help deal with the Amazing game.
Awe-some.
