The game's Facebook page put up a poll asking fans what villain they would like to see most in the game. The choices were Scorpion, Rhino, Lizard, Alistair Smythe, and Green Goblin. That may give some indication of who they're using. Aside from Goblin and Lizard, I could see the other three, especially if Smythe is behind the robot malfunction.

If it is, then I warned you guys; if they just skipped Edge of Time and focused more on the movie game, it would probably be better than what we might end up getting. Still, free roam compared to being stuck in a building is already a plus. Just need alot of villains. I disagree... What they need is not a lot of villains, we don't want more the same. What they need are new gameplay mechanics, if you ask me... Something innovative, something fresh.

Cool. The gameplay graphics are better than the cinematics for this game, which isn't a bad thing. I agree with Webber on the mechanics. I'm excited about the new web rush feature specifically, and also about swinging through the city with "unprecedented speed and grace". I got up to 226 mph in Spider-man 2 back in '04, and I had some pretty slick moves. So I'm curious as to just how fast we'll be able to go in this game.

Cuz there's an accomplishments menu. I had it on gamecube, but it shouldn't be different for the PS2 or the X-Box.

or based on the approximate height of spider-man that being the height of toby maguire would be able to determine how fast he can walk and compare it to how fast he runs based in comparison to the adjacent buildings.

Meh... It's alright I guess... But I really want to know if they've done interesting gameplay innovations.

The Facebook page has been answering some questions...
On Web Rush: Web Rush gives players real-time navigational and combat choices. Web Rush can be triggered on the fly, at any moment and immediately presents you with a variety of situational choices, letting you pull off Spidey’s signature moves like never before.
On side-missions: Yes there will be! Our game brings back free-roaming in Manhattan, where you guys will be able to swing around and discover a variety of side missions, challenges and mini-games in addition to the main storyline.
