Few tidbits of new info: *The belt won't be in the movie but the filmmakers asked them to add it into the game. That could be some indication it'll be in future films. Interesting request, certainly increases the chances of a belt appearing in future sequels since the game is set after the film.

The belt looks awesome. I wouldn't mind seeing it in the movies, and it should add a layer of fun to the gameplay since Peter probably keeps his homemade gadgets in it for "special occasions". I cringe at the thought of all the fanboy comments claiming that Spider-man is trying to be Batman though. Just because Batman's utility belt is famous (with its own paparazzi), doesn't mean everything else that uses a utility belt is a rip off of Batman.

Game-wise the franchise is doomed to be an Arkham City rip-off: Stealth take-downs, Web Rush (detective mode), damaged suit, and Arkham City like attacks complete with multiplier counters and similar dodge counters. How could anyone possibly draw comparisons to Batman?

I just thought of another possibility of who the main antagonist could be: Mendel Stromm, AKA Robot Master, AKA Gaunt. It would make sense given his connection to OsCorp in the comics and the use of robots in the game. We were all thinking Smythe and Spider-Slayers cause we see bug like robots and our minds go to that, but Stromm could be the more logical answer.

Can't we just hope for a good Spidey game? Thats what we all want, lets hope Beenox can deliver. They may have dropped the ball with Edge of Time, but let's not forget they did a good job with Shattered Dimensions. They're working on a grander scale this time with the open world aspect, as well as trying to avoid the movie tie-in curse. From what we've seen so far, it's looking like they're putting more effort into it than they did with Edge of Time. Whether or not the final product will deliver or not, we'll just have to wait til June.

Didn't expect that. Think he'll be the tutorial narrator again?

really really happy to hear them change the camera. that was always my biggest issue with the games. i want to see spider-man not this cartoon blob in the middle of the screen.
