I wonder what this entails. Screenrant has some pretty interesting theories, though I disagree with the notion that Marvel is ready to fly off the rails with their character interpretations. What they did to Mandarin was extreme, but a precedent doesn't necessarily mean an overhaul in policy.

Some interesting information regarding the agreement between Marvel Studios and Fox about Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch: www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/JoshWildingNewsAndReviews/news/?a=80162So basically if Marvel Studios uses Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch in a film, they can only be referred to by their real identities (Pietro and Wanda Maximoff), they aren't allowed to be called mutants and their father can't be mentioned. There's also speculation that Fox only added Quicksilver to piss off Marvel which doesn't bode well for potential crossovers between Marvel Studio and Fox properties. Personally I think Marvel should just let it go, its not like there aren't any other interesting characters that could use in future films.

I'll have to check it out. I agree with you though. Fox has the rights to mutants, so even though these two are Avengers, it would be wise to steer clear of them as much as possible to avoid this type of hassle.

yeah it was just kind of cheap. although including Scarlet Witch brings up the fan theory that the Avengers is set up in the Other M universe where Scarlet Witch changes reality so there are no more mutants.

A slew of big news: www.superherohype.com/news/articles/178093-characters-and-story-details-revealed-for-x-men-days-of-future-past* Peter Dinklage is indeed playing Bolivar Trask (which means I guess we'll have to ignore the Trask from X3). * Josh Helman will be playing a young William Stryker. * And finally, official plot details: Ellen Page returns as Kitty from the Brett Ratner–directed X-Men: The Last Stand, but this time she uses her powers to send Hugh Jackman's Wolverine back into the past, where he encounters the younger mutants played by James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Michael Fassbender. However, something bad happens to Kitty during the time-travel trance, and while Wolverine is still under her spell, the other X-Men must race to find a mutant who can siphon Kitty's powers and bring their friend back to the future.Based on this, is anyone else confused as to how exactly Kitty sends Wolverine back?

Those sentinel heads look absolutely fantastic. After I saw the picture online, I new I had to try to make an effort to go and see it up close. Judging by the size of the head and what little else is shown of the neck and muscles leading to the shoulders, I'd wager to say that these guys are going to be in the 10-12 foot range.
Here is the panel to DOFP, sans footage.
Here's the footage description:
It's a very, very fun panel. I think I regret missing this just as much as I regret missing Marvel Studios gargantuan 4 movie spread that day. The original movies were a big part of my high school experience. I spent two years writing a story and working script with a friend of mine who later went on to be a groomsman in my wedding. I got to be in his, and the other friends who worked on this movie of ours still talk today. We bonded in large part because of our love for these movies and we spent many, many weekends staying up all night having marathons watching these movies, the special features, and playing X-Men legends. Anywho, the existence of this movie is very surreal to me, and I can't wait for it to come out. Who would've thought that 2014 would be a bigger year for superhero movies than 2012?
