it'd be interesting to see how that would happen. The easy way to do is through the mutant Gateway or some cool bond tech. I would hope it keeps with that espionage genre like the first film.
It would be a bold direction if true. Nice way to kind of connect back to the WWII scenes that were so important in First Class.

So I got some speculation of how things could be done for the movie.
Given the nature of the story it will be based on and the historical timeframe, it could be possible the film will involve the JFK assassination. To divert from normal history, it could have been a mutant, say Domino for example, who was the assassin, and thus making the general population more aware of and angry at mutants earlier than they were in the 2000 film. When they fail to stop the assassination, the blame could be place on Lee Harvey Oswald, a normal human. There's already conspiracy theories surrounding the death, so a mutant assassin in the grassy knoll could be possible.
Now then, who could be the future mutant warning them? Since it would probably take decades to create a time portal, they could be from a time set after the events of X3. I have three ideas in that department: 1. Kitty Pryde. They could stick with the story and use an older Kitty, and if lucky enough maybe get Ellen Page back. 2. Wolverine. Since he's the most popular X-Men, I could see at least a version of him working with the team again. At the very least, Jackman can make another cameo appearance (same for Page). 3. Cable. He was rumored to be involved in the sequel before, so having him travel back could be a good way to introduce him. Plus that way, Fox can introduce a new character, and I wouldn't mind seeing a film version of Cable. Not sure if they could explain a relationship to Havok or Cyclops, but they'll probably just avoid it like they did in First Class. Now as a far out there idea, they could go Ultimate and have him be the future verison of Wolverine, but that could be a bit much. Cable seems the most likely, but another Hugh Jackman Wolverine cameo in the future is also a possibility.
What do you guys think?

I'd like to see them use newer characters. Like I said the mutant Gateway allows for time travel as well as travel to other dimensions.
It all comes down to how they could sell it.

That sounds awesome. Honestly, between Iron Man, Superman, and Thor, I'd say this one has the coolest plot synopsis.

Well that's not too bad. Singer has a good track record with the mutants, and technically, First Class was originally his vision.
Kinda funny though, how Vaughn left the Kick Ass franchise to do X-Men, and now he's leaving the director's chair on X-Men to be a producer.

I'm glad to see that Vaughn is still involved in some capacity.

Bryan Singer's at it again: www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/BatFreak/news/?a=69447I'm happy with this. He shouldn't have left the franchise to begin with, and he would've directed XMFC were it not for his commitment to "Jack the Giant [Slayer]". With Vaughn still attached to produce, I'm sure he'll still be providing creative support.

I wonder who indeed from the original cast would return. Imagine how awesome it'll be to see Young Xavier and Magneto meeting older Xavier and Magneto. Oh man, that would be amazing! Sentinels, time travel, mutants. This is going to be one epic film.

Yeah. It feels like we'll be getting the best of both worlds (original trilogy and First Class).
