I can't stop watching this. It's creepy and epic at the same time.

I loved it. The way that Spader uses his voice to convey his indignance. I read somewhere that Ultron is supposed to be like a psychotic child with unlimited power rebelling against his father. So when you watch the trailer again, and you can hear the indignance in his voice growing, as though he's not fully sure how to feel about humanity until he speaks his thoughts out loud... it makes it that much cooler.
A few things I really enjoyed. The cinematography, the tone, the Hulkbuster suit and new Iron Man armor hotness. Someone said the new Iron Man armor is Mark 42 (or was it 43?) with a new paint job, but I don't think it looks quite the same. What did you guys think? It's easy to overlook the new Iron Man suit when Tony's busting out the Hulk Buster, but I still am really impressed with the sleek new suit.

Marvel to release more Avengers 2 footage this Tuesday on Agents of SHIELD. www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/notyetamovie/news/?a=109899As a troll on CBM.com put it, Attempt to Save Ratings part 2 shall commence in t minus 3 days. Seriously though, SHIELD is earning its second chance, and what a great opportunity for Marvel to keep this hype train rolling along. Let's hope it's the party scene.

Haven't had the chance to comment on the trailer until now. Really though this was one of the best trailers I have seen in a long time. Honestly, this is on par with the TDK trailer. I remember watching that one over and over just to hear the Joker speak. I keep coming back to this trailer for Spader. I knew he'd be great, but he blew away my expectations.
What this trailer did especially well though was set the dynamic of Ultron. He doesn't come to his plans though his robotic logic, but a disturbed mind. I wouldn't go as far to say that it's breaking the mold on evil robots, but feels refreshing compared to the Matrix or iRobot.
Pairing Ultron, a sentient robot freed from the strings of his users and creators, with the imprisoned "Miracles" is a fantastic way to incorporate Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver's darker pasts. Without even knowing Ultron's exact plan I can buy into their support at least initially.
My only worry is that the flood of Ultron bots are just going to clutter the screen and delay a thin plot.

For sure. Hopefully Joss has found a way to tell a compelling story with his character building. There are a lot of hefty themes he could have tackled, so it would be a shame if that's wasted. Funny story. My wife and I went to Olive Garden yesterday. As we waited outside, she changed the tone of our conversation by suddenly whispering to me that we were showing our age. Confused, I asked her what she was talking about. She gestured toward the 3 other young couples sitting outside as we were. The difference being that no one was talking to each other. They were all too busy checking their cell phones. We spent the remainder of our time outside checking up on the other couples (strangers) to see if their activities had changed. No such luck.
It just got me thinking about what Joss could do with this movie. We have addressed the issue of over dependence on technology before, but I don't think any one film has knocked it out of the park recently so it would be fun if Joss could be the one to get it right.

Cap moved it a little, so I'm calling it: he's gonna use Mjolnir against Ultron in the climax.

That's what a lot of people are hoping. I hope he does that too. Did anyone catch that leaked scene where Cap and Tony are chopping fire wood out in the middle of nowhere? It's a tense scene, shot to look like one of those award winning pictures. Cap gets so mad he ends up splitting a log with his bare hands. Civil War is a brewin'.

I think this could be a new trend. Ultron singing Disney classics! "You'll be in my heart." (Tarzan) "Hi ho. Hi ho. It's off to work we go." (Snow White) "Somehow I'll make a man out of you." (Mulan)
