Joke's on you. Menace is part of the Goblin's army, so this is somewhat relevant.

Went back and read/skimmed through the first 5 pages of this thread. Funny to think how controversial this story was/(is maybe?). I also am depressed that this story is over 2 years old now. My oh my, how time flies. It makes sense to me that people would be up in arms over the story. Peter's daughter May Day Parker was somehow retconned (or killed?) the 90's, in the 2000's his Aunt May is shot dead and his marriage erased, and now in the 2010's one of Peter's greatest foes takes over his body and life, and the story ain't just a 1 issue adventure? For sure, that's frustrating.
However, I've had a blast reading it. I love how unpredictable it is, and there are things that Octavius is doing as Spider-man that I've always wanted to see Spider-man do. With Ock in control, you get to see Spidey take it up a notch without Peter Parker having to be held accountable for it. Seriously, who hasn't wanted to see what it would be like if Spider-man used his full physical strength when battling the likes of the Scorpion? I'm having a blast seeing Spider-man be so organized against the likes of the Kingpin (You got an army? So do I, and robots!) Spider-man's hostile take down of the Hobgoblin Phil Urich was bananas! Yes, he's a giant tool, but when have we ever seen Punisher style Spider-man without the symbiote? Yes, I've lost my mind, but since it's gone I'm enjoying the ride.
