Yeah, I mean the boot design, front spider, the extra thick belt, the eyes and everything. The webs are different, true, but the balance of the suit just screams it. Also similar to EOT, is that it creates the effect of bulking up Spidey's calves and arms.

I hadn't noticed that. They are very similar. I don't know, I kind of like it. I've never really liked that front emblem though and I understand the prop argument. It is kind of weird to think that Peter did that himself. I guess he is pretty smart

i appreciate that it has that slick more professional look for a more professional spider-man. kind of like when you played the first movie game in which you spend so much time in the dumb wrestler outfit to finally get the real suit. it feels like you made it.
i get the same feeling with this suit. yeah its way too much like the raimi suit, but perhaps on film and better screen shots will change my mind.

I thought Canada Goose was only popular in Canada. Why does Andrew Garfield have such little fashion sense? Why doesn't he look fabulous?

I think his head makes up for anything he could possibly wear Wait that could go horribly wrong... his head head. The thing with the mout-ohjesus... HIS FACE ALRIGHT. Also good point about the suit cavey

Ohoo, so what do you think of the post-credits scene from the Amazing Spider-Man, now?

I thought this final part of the wikipedia article offered a nice tid bit of what we have to look forward to in TASM 2 (some of it might have been posted earlier): On February 4, 2013, Marc Webb... confirmed that the sequel is being shot on film instead of digital. Sony revealed this would be the first Spider-Man film to be filmed entirely in New York, and the largest film production ever in New York City. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Amazing_Spider-Man_2First off, this filming entirely in New York has me curious. You can't beat the real thing, but I find it fascinating that this is the biggest production to EVER be shot in New York. Sure, Avengers was shot in Cleveland, but I'm surprised that this is bigger than Sam Raimi's $175-$250 million efforts. Didn't he at least shoot SOME of the original trilogy in NY? Just as important was the decision to shoot this thing in film. Could that mean IMAX cameras, and if so, what might that mean for the cinematography in this one? The cameras are awkward and loud, but they're also a big reason why Dark of the Moon, TDKR, and Ghost Protocol looked so great visually. Marc Webb stated in the commentary of TASM that he regrets not being more aggressive with the POV shots. I do remember wondering why such a big deal was made of them when they were very minimal in the final production. Anyway, point is, will switching to film allow him greater comfort to try more ballsy things with the camera?

That suit looks so badass. Funny how the production photos looked funky in movie one, now the suit from movie one looks great in random pictures. The new suit for this movie looks sort of funky in pre-production for TASM 2, but it'll probably look better than the original design in the final cut.
