Not necessarily, but I doubt the creators handled the premise with any dexterity. Honestly, I'd be okay dealing with this show's crap if Spidey was a bit smarter. He's a complete dumbass, which I think is the program's biggest flaw.

I literally felt my brain cells dying watching the Boston ep.

Watching today episodes, I couldn't stop thinking to myself "I can't believe this got a third season."

Not a fan of the voice. It's done by the guy who plays Teri on Batman Beyond I think. I just don't like the fit on this.

Aside from a different origin, this was great. I wouldn't mind a Deadpool Team-Up type show. At least that way they could keep him tame for viewers.

jokes were funny, voice acting was grating. I was really rooting for the guy, but waaay overacting but seriously the writing was very very strong for Deadpool. Really funny. Especially his multiple origin stories. I lost it with the "Nerdy kid made contact with radioactive material in his backyard pool"
A lot of the jokes weren't spelt out too which was awesome. Like Deadpool noticing the ripple effect for Spidey's spider sense. Or how he can't say the "K-Word." Really under the radar funny stuff.

I think it would be interesting if they tried to adapt the Superior Spider-Man concept on the show, at least for a 2-parter.

I've heard this show kind of sucks. Is it true?

I watched the first season in 2 parts. It definitely sucks, but it has an identity. It's not lost like Marvel's live action SHIELD show that became decent for 3 episodes before this week's episode. I actually have to watch this week's episode for myself, but I am mostly current on it. That's SHIELD though, as far as season 2 goes, I haven't heard much different. I have yet to watch it (season 2) though, so I've just been following BIB's occasional updates.

I'm still feeling pretty wounded over TSSM's cancellation to be honest. This seems like a paltry replacement.
